English version

Hello blockchain poets, I join the weekly initiative to write based on a theme. This week the prompt is ADDICTION. So I came up with the idea to write about a type of addiction that usually escapes the eye because it doesn't have a vice attached to it. Like stars in the firmament,
of distant and imposing brightness.
Greater than the rising sun,
thinks himself a lion, the donkey.

Thus sang the flowers on the road, they did not sing for the elders, nor for the maidens they sang, their verses were fierce attacks on others who passed by. Without perception of life or awareness of their surroundings, a loaf of bread in the oven grew more than an idea in their heads; they reasoned in one piece that they were superior.

A sad addiction for which there is no remedy and no hope. It rots the confidence of those who hope for improvement, and the hours are long for those who want to fill their bellies. It is a common vice, though less showy, and it is always funny when it is compared, at parties, at dinners, in the squares; everyone at the end comments, that he is proud who boasts an excess of his own esteem.

Envy is his crown, his throat wears the jewels of rancor. Inability causes them pain, to themselves and also to others, but not even the broken bones of the weak ones awaken them, nor their conscience cries out for them to correct their steps.

Addicted to applause, addicted to flattery, addicted to their own belief. For them there is no science other than that which they write themselves, nor has history passed without them as heroes. Poor losers, aged equestrians, who will have pity on them? They will be judged by their deeds and by their cult of their addiction.

Beautiful is the man who thinks that his like, like is like, and refuses with force to believe that he surpasses others in cunning. He more earnestly seeks something to admire in his neighbor, because he considers it logical that this is better for peace and harmony, than to go about giving grief and causing agony, with invented mandates and glory, which like muffled voices are lost in the distance.

Go about enviously with your sack on your back, making deals, winning deals and taking oaths. Go on addicted to glory, to yourself, and to your ideas. Someday perhaps you will read, hear or at least have a vision, which will show that your addiction will lead you to ruin, and although you consider yourself at the top and that you look like a lion; your reality is another song, for you look like a donkey.
