To understand grace,
all in all, you must erase
every trace of stale euphoria
and live the life that is before you.
To understand that much
is to know that every touch
needs not be remembered,
for all fires have once embered.
To have arrived here is enough to me;
I'm aware of each possibility,
but since the pen is in my hand,
I'll understand what I demand.
