College is so stressful, and we've been craving for a little escape. Then, a holiday came — our only chance to take break.
When the holiday was announced, we then planned our destination, our foods, our transportation, and of course, our outfit.
At the morning, we started preparing everything. We cooked hotdogs, pancit bihon, buttered shrimp, and chicharon. On our way to beach, we also bought a watermelon, softdrinks, chichirya, and bangus or milkfish. We put so many condiments before grilling the milkfish, and it was superb!
With a calm sea and white sand, we cherished the moment away from academic stress and all the deadlines.
We lie on the sand, and burrowed our bodies deep down so that we could feel the relaxation we were craving for.
I climbed the tree which offered us the shadow we need as we were having the picnic and took pictures so that I could look back to it someday.
The beach was so peaceful as if we were the owners of it. There were no other people and we have enjoyed it for ourselves, it was an amazing day.
We prepared simple foods, because our only aim is just to get away for a day and enjoy without thinking about the academics.

STOPAhh this makes me miss the beach too. Everything sounds so perfect, good food and good company. Nothings beats grilled bangus by the sea and a chill holiday escape like that.

I am not from Cebu but I heard Mactan Island is a beautiful place for summer vacation.
Such a nice vacation. It really helps to those who are stressed in work,in life, in school. Sometimes we really need a break. Spend some time with our family and cherish every little time of it because in the future we cannot see our family everyday if we are going to work abroad or where our destiny will be.
Yesyes, we must cherish those people whiel they're still here. That's why, I always wanna make more memories.
