In the past few days we have released some fresh updates based on feedback and suggestions received after our latest release: AutoVote trails, post and author subscriptions, and embedded previews for HivePredict markets.

Whether you're deep into curation, want to stay on top of conversations, or love following prediction games, there's something here for you.

Support for "Trails" in AutoVote Settings

AutoVote just got smarter. You can now follow curation trails directly in your AutoVote rules. Instead of only setting manual per-author votes, connect to popular trails to automatically mirror votes from trusted curators or communities.

This keeps things simple—no need to manage dozens of individual rules if a trail already covers your favorite projects. Just like before, it uses your existing posting authority, and you control everything from a single config page.

Subscribe to Posts for Comment Notifications

Never miss the conversation again. You can now subscribe to any individual post and get notified whenever someone drops a new comment.

Head to a post you want to follow closely and look for the new Subscribe button (bell icon) in the comment section. You'll receive in-app notifications (and soon more channels if we expand) as replies roll in. Subscription to posts automatically expires after 30 days.

This new feature is powered by our @peak.open project to handle all sorts of Hive related notifications: https://gitlab.com/peakd/peak-notification-system

Subscribe to Authors for New Post Notifications

Similarly, subscribe to your favorite authors to get pinged every time they publish something new.

You can subscribe from the new bell icon button in the post header. PeakD will notify you about fresh content from that account so you never miss an update from creators you love.

HivePredict Previews in Snaps

Excited about on-chain prediction markets? We've added support for previews of HivePredict (built by @beggars) right in PeakD.

When a new snap for a HivePredict market is posted, you'll now see a clean, inline preview including key details like the event, yes/no odds, total staked volume, and more. No need to click away to understand what's being discussed.

⚠️ Friendly reminder that HivePredict is an external product not operated by the PeakD team ⚠️

When I try to set a trial it keeps showing error.
Not sure if it's just me or everyone.

Not for me

As always, thanks @peakd team!

 last month

thanks! Glad you like it. What will you be using from new stuff?

Thank you for communicating these changes and developments. Best regards, @peakd.

Thanks fot update, its the good movement

As always the PeakD team killing it!

Nice one

The notification when someone posts, that's only if you want it, makes me so happy. This is one of the few things I've felt would really help my peakD experince. YUUUUSSSS

:goes off to use it.:

awesome work guys!

Nice updates. Thanks. I tried setting up AutoVote. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I get an error if I try to select an account that was already selected for Trail.

What does "already selected for a trail" mean?

Trail was one of the options there.

Ah ok, for me it worked

Just to clarify. You have the same account set-up as an account rule and you want to add it again as a trail. Correct?

It is the opposite. I had added it as a trail and then tried to add an account rule and ended up with this error.

Got it thanks. Will work on a fix 👍

Cool thanks.

I love these!! Well done as always!

These are awesome additions. Now the last usage of Hivesigner for me is gone!

Cool stuff!
I noticed the new post notification bell already! Really useful!
I didn't know there was an AutoVote option. Have to look up where I can find that one!

-edit-

Found it!
@asgarth does it also upvote comments? Hive.vote has this option and it would be useful if people want to follow the Topcomment trail.

It's in your settings. Or here: https://peakd.com/me/autovote

Thanks! Already found it! And edited my comment.
Does it also upvote comments by default?

No, post only

Too bad for topcomment, but cool anyways.

Sorry, I misunderstood or I was too quick in my previous reply.

  • For account autovoting rules we only upvote root posts.
  • For trails we actually simply follow the trail. We don't exclude comments (not tested, but this is how it should work).

Please let me know if you give it a try 👍

Ah, cool! I'll test it out and let you know!

Freindlymoose! how are you?

I'm fine, thanks! How are you?

Pretty good. I had a lot of fun drawing bugs this month.
I'm just glad to see you on hive again.

Creative!
Thanks ❤️

This is beautiful. Thank you to peakd team

Great features, makes connection and engagement cool.

The notifications will be pumping all over the place! :D

Indeed. 😂
!LOLZ
!BBH

Have you tried it? :D

Not yet.

You can try on my giveaway tomorrow.. 🤣

I like the sound of the giveaway. 😂!LOLZ

I love the subscription features. Really good.

I've been meaning to ask if there's a possibility, or you are planning to implement the voting time feature. (I didn't read all the comments on the other post, so maybe the issue was discussed there.)

Right now, I suppose voting time is 0 (zero).

Can you share some details about this?

Yes, the vote is sent shortly after the post.

What's the reasoning behind a voting time?

At the moment, nothing. There used to be times, when voting time could give you an advantage, but not anymore. I was just checking.

Yes exactly. We just decided to do the simplest thing and vote as soon as we detect the post.

Sick tech. You guys rock!
