Greetings Hivians
Since I've been using Hive for more than a year already, I suppose it's too late for me to introduce myself at this time. However, as the adage goes, "It's better late than never," so let's get started.
Bio
Hello to everybody. I'm Jude, a 33-year-old Filipino who now resides in Cagayan de Oro City, the City of Golden Friendship, but I'm originally from Zamboanga City, Asia's Latin City and the City of Flowers. Currently working with Remotasks as a data annotation specialist.
Gamer
Not a pro gamer myself but I love playing computer and mobile games. Some of the games that I love to play - for fun (not good at) are StarcraftII, DOTA2, and Mobile Legends BB. I'm not really a fan of MOBAs so it might be the reason why I never mastered these games. I prefer playing RPGs maybe because I like to escape reality and it's easy to take on a different role in a game. I can choose whether to be the hero👼 or the villain😈.
Adventurer
When an adventure is genuine, I love it the most. The metaverse can be alluring because the only thing stopping you is your imagination. Real-life experiences, however, are more meaningful, and the people you meet and the bond you create along the way might be priceless.
Not a Writer
I'm not good at writing, and never really planned to blog about anything. I joined hive because of Splinterlands. I needed to have a Hive account in order to play it. I'm glad I joined hive as it introduced me to Web3. Now I enjoy several DApps of Hive, mostly games though but I also enjoy using Actifit. I become sedentary while working from home during the pandemic, but Actifit encourages me to get moving.
With the exception of YouTube, I haven't used social media in the past three years. I didn't feel the need to share everything with everyone, and I struggle to give photos captions. However, I believe the major reason I stopped utilizing such platforms was because I was unable to make any money from them. Here on Hive would be the best place for me to start sharing something about myself since I can benefit from it.
New Years Resolution
Time goes by so quickly. With my current age, I should ideally have financial security. Nevertheless, as much as I detest to say it, I am not financially secure. I was prepared to be a good, if not exceptional, employee while growing up in a Filipino family. I never received any business or investment education. But then again, It's better late than never. So I'll be educating myself financially, teaching myself to invest, and learning the ins and outs of launching a business, starting right now — sure, there's no need to wait for the new year to start with a resolve. In fact, I've already learned a lot from reading posts on Leo finance.

Thank you! And thanks for informing me about LeoThreads. I knew that LeoFinance has several apps like LeoFi and LeoDex in it but I didn't know bout LeoThreads. This is great info.
You're very welcome. It's cool that you already know those apps by LeoFinance.
Threads is a feature in the UI but posts there are seen as comments when viewed on other frontends. I read it will be in the forefront when the new LeoFinance UI will get released (it's on closed beta atm).
