Hi. Our biggest festival is over, all the family boring with meaty and greasy dishes. During these days we often go out to go out, go to the temple or go to cafes.
Yesterday I messaged via Facebook with an old friend, we were in middle school, and we used to be very close and then for a long time, we didn't talk to each other. She is a beautiful girl but has an introverted personality, afraid to appear in front of many people, she was born into a family with a tradition of studiousness. Her parents are teachers and doctors, her relatives are all masters, doctorates, and people with high degrees in society. So from an early age, she was pressured for grades and rankings. she was always trying to get first place, which made her overwhelmed and in crisis. She suffered from depression for several years and had to be treated in the hospital. During that time, I didn't see her, she almost disappeared and no longer wanted to talk to anyone, not even a close friend like me. I asked her about it many times but she didn't answer, and sometimes I hesitated to ask her if she was okay, because she had always thought it was 'pity'. Time goes by so fast, she's still quiet, no one knows what she's doing. I have a very stressful and exhausting life, I texted her and wished we could meet. And she agreed, we went to a good cafe in our area. My town is growing, there are many coffee and milk tea restaurants opening. Even if the economy in 2023 is inflation, there are still a lot of people hanging out and enjoying, I always find this cafe restaurant crowded.

The restaurant's name is "chum". The restaurant has 2 floors, the first-floor space has about 4-5 tables and 1 bartender. Going deep into this restaurant, there is another interesting space with different types of ornamental plants, feeling like sitting in a small garden. There is a small decorative corner - it's a place for girls who like to take pictures.
For example, on Christmas day, this little corner has a Christmas tree, candy, cakes, snowflakes and presents. On Lunar New Year (TET) days, this corner is decorated with traditional Vietnamese dishes such as banh chung and peach trees, red envelopes, and symbols representing Tet in Vietnam. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, this cafe restaurant decorated to suit the children such as lanterns, star lights,..
We chose the space on the 2nd floor to relax and talk. The 2nd floor is designed with 2 shelves for books, suitable for those who want to sit here to work.

I ordered a cup of peach grass jelly tea, the taste of the tea is delicious and full of milk, the freshness of peaches and the crunchiness of the jelly, the best drink I have ever had. My friend ordered a cappuccino, only 1.7 dollars for a cappuccino - cheap right?
