Hi everyone :)

Today, the trail goes right here beside the base and the first exploration was done by bicycle with Tinto to accompany, as it could not be otherwise.
Even if i didn't want to, it was impossible to avoid, the dog that was always walking around the grounds there, whenever he saw someone taking the bike, he immediately put himself on alert prepared to start the trip, without knowing the destination.
This time i ventured out to explore a very interesting path that crossed the valley in huge straights as far as the eye could see.

First i chose to turn right in the direction of a slight uphill climb and i cycled as far as my legs allowed, cycled and cycled always thinking that at some point in the path i would come across some fence delimiting some private property, but this did not happen and the path has not ended either.
The landscapes that surrounded me were absolutely fantastic, like the ones we see in TVI soap operas, with names of Lusitanian horses, huge mantles of roasted color with the cork oaks giving green and spaced notes in a breathtaking landscape.

The pauses to take some of these photos allowed to catch some breath, in a way, it would have even been possible to go further, but the sky started to get heavy, and before the weather got worse i decided to go back, because there was a few kilometers to recover.
Arriving at the base and curious about what I had seen and the peculiarity of the route, i decided to research the origin and usefulness of that path, also because despite being wide enough, had in its extension and between some distances, some pillars that made it impossible to passage of 4-wheel vehicles ..

Then I came to the conclusion that it was the Ecopista do Ramal de Mora that links the village of Arraiolos to the city of Évora and that resulted from a partnership between a railway company and the local authority in order to reconvert the old railway into a pedestrian and cycling route, and it is also possible to go horseback riding.
Our luck :) right next door.

The next day i couldn't resist, took the bike again and this time i turned left, caught a slight unevenness that gave me an unforgettable and peaceful ride on a sunny morning, stopping only when i arrived at the old and now abandoned train station in Arraiolos, where i did a pause and take some more pictures.
The entire route is developed entirely in a rural environment and inserted in the Alentejo landscape in an extension of almost 11 kilometers.

Unfortunately i didn't have the opportunity or the breath to go through it in full, but i hope to be able to do it one day later.

That´s all for today :)

See you soon
Thank you for watching :)
