Military Museum
Hey guys, it’s been a while I didn’t post anything . I was busy with some sort of works. Today I am going to tell you about the military museum. The glorious Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971 which was led by The Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman he was the final chapter in our struggle for independence. To encapsulate the military heritage of our Liberation War the Military Museum was built and present location at Bijoy Sarani. The construction building work of the ‘Military Museum’ had started from September 2017. It started its journey from 06 January 2022 after its inauguration by the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Museum opening schedule
During the month of Ramadan
Morning Exhibition:
10 am to 1 pm Except Friday and National Holidays.
And
Afternoon Exhibition:
2 pm to 5 pm except Friday and National Holidays.
How I had planned to visit?
Today was my friends Birthday . His name is Rabby so my father is being hospitalised at Mirpur so we thought was hanging out suddenly remembered that military museum is near . So we bought the tickets online it was about 12 pm and military museum closes at 1:30pm and will reopen at 3pm again. But we can’t stay that much longer time so we had to reach there as fast as possible. Called a Rickshaw and it took like 15 minutes to reach there at the spot.
Hot weather
Sun was on top of the head and I was sweating a lot. I get tired easily in summer time. It was very hot temperature felt like if I had stayed any longer outside I would burn. Took few pictures and entered the museum .
Crowd makes me anxious
Today there was a crowd many students came for tour.I am not used to being around many people.Anyways it was a huge place it’s the most decorated museum I have ever seen in Bangladesh. I didn’t expect this much. It was fascinating.
Mesmerised Titanic
This place was my favourite on the felt like I was really on the ship and it was soo real. The view was relaxing. I remember that when I was very young I had seen a movie called Titanic. I had seen jack & Rose on this side in this position. Although I am single I have no jack in my life . So I enjoyed this moment all by myself.
Prime Minister of Bangladesh
This photo is of the Prime Minister in our country. She is the leader. Her name is Sheikh Hasina. She is the daughter of great leader late BangaBandhu.
Inside Military Musuem
Everything here was related to our war which happened till 1971. In 1971 we had achieved our victory our independence. In 2023 it felt great to see those things which I never had seen before. In case I am a gamer it game me the vibes of PUBGM .
Resembles gaming
Because I had played PUBG I knew most of the names of guns. In pubg those type of guns are seen.
Ship themed
All ship details and about submarine and many other things was represented over here. I liked the idea of the navy. The design of the ship seemed like an actual ship.
Door of the submarine. Which was pretty realistic although it can’t be opened from the outside. It’s only for the show.
Aquarium
At first glance I thought this was real Aquarium . Then I had realised it was not real. It was so beautiful I just loved it.
Picture is too blurry because of the background and could not take any good pictures.
Tent
This seemed to be the tent for the soliders.
One Piece
It was my first time seeing a huge ship of this kind. Every details of the ship was so realistic. It seemed like a pirates ship . In One Piece anime these type of ships are valued.
Wall designs
Red and black is my favourite Color. The combination of red and black made it more attractive the designs on the wall were soo attractive to the eyes.
Huge Displayer
Huge displayer on the background was showing our history of Bangladesh.
Small Structures
Small buildings structures are seen over here. Which was cute I liked it.
Map
This is the map of Bangladesh every cities are pointed on this map.
Dark Themed
It was so dark I could not see myself in the pictures. I don’t like darkness I do panic while being in dark. My friend was there for me so it had helped to feel secured. Otherwise the place was of nice.
I like this posture this is my signature pose. Whenever I am taking photos I would carry this posture all the time.
Victory Day
16 December is our victory day. This is the day we had achieved our independence and this is the flag of our Bangladesh. The green color represents the beauty of the land of Bangladesh. And the red Color dignifies the bloodshed for those who fought for the country's independence.
Last place
This is the last place I had visited upper lightings were so good thought of taking pictures .
###Museum Review
Overall the place was neat and clean even though there were crowded inside but outside was crowd free. Also the outside environment was enjoyable there were green leafs everywhere . Which was relaxing for my eyes. I would give 9 out of 10 because the space was not enough when it was crowded. Felt like I had travelled back in time after seeing those historical things beyond my eyes. It was fun my friend had enjoyed also I took the experience.
Inside musem there were many more things but it’s too much I can’t share every pictures over here. After roaming inside military museum we had more time so felt bored because we had seen everything in 30-40 minutes so the Art Gallery was beside the Military Museum so we headed for the Art Gallery .
