And again an old topic! Namely Göynük canyon! This is a canyon with incredibly clear water and a huge height, which I wrote about 4 months ago. It's been a while, but I finally want to finish this old thread I started, and move on to others.
So, we will finish at the highest point in Göynük. These huge rocks amaze me! I can't look away. The mountains are completely covered with thick forest and only in some areas of the mountain we can see the stones not covered with plants.
And what is it? These are mountain goats! And they go down to the water in the bottom. I see this for the first time! We did see some mountain roe deer. But since they were far from us, we could not photograph them. And finally we descend lower and lower. I can't imagine how many meters of height there are in these mountains! It's fascinating. The views are incredible, we get excited looking at it all. Stones sometimes fall from the cliffs here. That's why you need to go fast.
And here is one of the features of this canyon! Zip Line! This is an exciting attraction. You fly on a rope over the water. It looks great. Unfortunately, I did not ride it. My mother is very afraid of Zip line. But to be honest, I really wanted to. Let's keep going! We walk up the stairs and expect something fantastic.
And here we come to the end. In order to get to the pearl of the canyon, you need to take off your shoes and walk in the water. Then on the stones, and it's done. Wow! Incredible mountain turquoise water, formed a canyon that entices everyone to swim. It is so deep and mysterious! I can see the continuation of the canyon between the rocks, and it is so tempting to me. But unfortunately, I cannot find out what is further between the rocks in this canyon. Do you know why? Because you have to swim there, and we didn't take swimsuits. And the water is very cold (because it is mountainous).
Here, all this beauty was emphasized by the plants growing down the rock, and the streams of water filling the canyon. They sure work like showers here. Also, some people dared to take swimsuits and swim in the gorge. It is so mysterious, beautiful, mysterious, jungles of Turkey, and in the middle of them is a gorge with perfectly clear water.

I wanted so much to see what was behind the rocks, but we never saw it and I don't think we ever will. Because it's already autumn, it's cold even in Turkey. But at least we stood in the water with our feet. And took a bunch of photos for you to add another place to your "To visit in Turkey" list! I think it is a worthy place to visit.
Bye bye everyone! 🏞️⛰️
