Çeşme is a small and picturesque town located on the Aegean coast of Turkey. Its name means "fountain" in Turkish, and the town is named after the numerous fountains that can be found throughout the area. One of the most striking things about Çeşme is the colorful houses that line its narrow streets. They painted in a range of pastel colors, including shades of pink, blue, and green. Some balconies even have wooden shutters that can be opened or closed to provide privacy or shade from the sun.

As you walk through the streets, it's easy to get lost in the beauty of the architecture and the charming atmosphere of the town. But Çeşme isn't just a pretty face - it also has a rich and interesting history. The town was originally founded as a Greek colony in the 8th century BC, and it has been inhabited by a variety of different cultures over the years. As you stroll through the town, you'll also come across numerous ancient ruins and historic sites. The Ottoman Empire ruled the area for centuries and left their mark on the town with various mosques, fountains, and other important landmarks. The most famous of these is the Ottoman fortress that stands at the entrance to the harbor, providing a reminder of the town's past and a glimpse into its fascinating history. But perhaps the best way to enjoy Çeşme is to simply take a leisurely stroll through its winding streets, stopping to enjoy a cup of Turkish tea or coffee at one of the many charming cafes that can be found throughout the town. There's nothing quite like soaking up the local atmosphere and taking in the sights and sounds of this unique and beautiful place. Whether you're an architecture buff, a history lover, or simply someone who appreciates natural beauty. Çeşme is a must-visit destination. Its unique combination of stunning architecture, rich history, and relaxed atmosphere make it a truly unforgettable place to explore.

This city is very beautiful.

If you don't tell me it's Turkey i would think it's some area of Western Europe. The colors of the flowers give a lot of life to the place and the amazing coastline.

Yeah, i really like this city too. I absolutely agree with you. That's so nice flowers. Thank you for reading my post.

Very interesting this place, when I saw those pink balconies I quickly ran my mind to Malta, and there they have a custom with these colorful balconies.
You've attached here beautiful pictures especially those from the Aegean coast.

Thank you, these balconies impressed me too. I was delighted with them. The sea is so nice too. I tried to take photos as best as possible.

I don't know what you take the pictures with, but they're really good.
The photos I attach to my posts are taken with mobile phones, we are not professional photographers and don't have high-end equipment.

Secluded beaches away from the crowds are better, chill out relax

Very nice photos, it looks like a very colorful place and bathed by the sea. You can tell that it was a Greek colony, because of its proximity to the country and the architecture of the houses, which have painted blue windows. 😄

Yes, Greece is similar in some parts to Cesme. We have noticed this for a long time. Especially on the island of Chios, very similar. Moreover, it is very close to Cesme.
