Nuestra aventura comenzó cuando nos enteramos de algunas empresas que hacen Tour, en este caso nos recomendaron mucho el Tour de Guatapé que no queríamos dejar pasar ya que lo recomendaron mucho para nosotros, costaba tan solo 94.000 pesos colombianos pero incluía traslado ida y vuelta, desayuno, almuerzo y la visita a distintos lugares que incluía este tour, estaba increíble y la verdad a muy buen precio, así que no dudamos en llamar y avisar que asistiríamos con nuestro amigo José y nuestro amigo canadiense Antonie.
Our adventure began when we found out about some companies that do Tours, in this case they highly recommended the Guatapé Tour that we did not want to miss since they highly recommended it for us, it cost only 94,000 Colombian pesos but it included roundtrip transportation, breakfast , lunch and the visit to different places that this tour included, it was incredible and the truth at a very good price, so we did not hesitate to call and let us know that we would attend with our friend José and our Canadian friend Antonie.

Cada uno pagó su paseo, nos recogieron en la residencia donde nos estábamos hospedando, la gente del tour es muy puntual y llegaron a tiempo a buscarnos, hacia mucho frió y no llevamos abrigo, creo sinceramente que fue una pésima elección pues hubo momentos en los que queríamos un poco de calor.
Each one paid for their ride, they picked us up at the residence where we were staying, the people on the tour are very punctual and arrived on time to look for us, it was very cold and we did not have a coat, I sincerely believe that it was a terrible choice because there were times when we wanted a little warmth.
Nosotros queríamos aguantar a desayunar con el tour y por eso salimos sin comer nada, salimos a las 7 am y lo bueno de la empresa (Maxi Tour) es que tienen calculado el tiempo para cada parada necesaria, tiempo suficiente para no esperar mucho y para que te dé tiempo de tomarte fotos en los sitios e ir al baño, comenzamos con un pequeño pueblo llamado Pueblo del Peñol y nos hicimos un par de fotos aquí, comenzamos muy bien, nos encantó el lugar.
We wanted to put up with breakfast with the tour and that's why we left without eating anything, we left at 7 am and the good thing about the company (Maxi Tour) is that they have calculated the time for each necessary stop, enough time not to wait long and to Give you time to take photos in the places and go to the bathroom, we started with a small town called Pueblo del Peñol and we took a couple of photos here, we started very well, we loved the place.
15 minutos fueron suficientes para las fotos, montarnos en el bus y seguir nuestro camino, la siguiente parada fue a desayunar en el pueblo de Marinilla donde nos dieron a todos una arepa de maíz, huevos revueltos, tajada de plátano maduro, queso y mantequilla, además la bebida a escoger, nosotros escogimos café con leche, aunque también había chocolate caliente o agua de panela.
15 minutes were enough for the photos, get on the bus and continue on our way, the next stop was for breakfast in the town of Marinilla where they gave us all a corn arepa, scrambled eggs, a slice of ripe banana, cheese and butter, In addition, the drink to choose, we chose coffee with milk, although there was also hot chocolate or panela water.
Una vez que desayunamos, aprovechamos para entrar al baño y cuando nos montamos en el bus, la señora encargada del Tour nos preguntó sobre que tipo de carne escogeríamos para almorzar bien sea pollo, carne de res o carne de cerdo, cada uno hizo su elección y de acuerdo a ello nos dieron una estampita que además de guardar bien también debíamos entregar al momento de almorzar para que nos entregaran el plato.
Once we had breakfast, we took the opportunity to go to the bathroom and when we got on the bus, the lady in charge of the Tour asked us about what type of meat we would choose for lunch, whether it be chicken, beef or pork, each one made their choice According to this, they gave us a picture that, in addition to keeping it well, we also had to give it at lunchtime so that they could give us the plate.
Seguimos con la parada más esperada de todas, La visita a la piedra del Peñol, aquí debíamos pagar la entrada la cual costaba 20.000 pesos colombianos ya que el tour no incluía el ascenso, hicimos lo posible por pagarlos para subirlos 649 escalones que nos llevarían al ver un mirador espectacular, había mucha brisa y sin duda alguna puedo decirles que llegamos cansados arriba, las piernas nos temblaban pero eso no fue impedimento para hacernos las fotos geniales.
We continued with the most anticipated stop of all, the visit to the Piedra del Peñol, here we had to pay the entrance which cost 20,000 Colombian pesos since the tour did not include the ascent, we did our best to pay them to climb the 649 steps that would take us to the See a spectacular viewpoint, there was a lot of breeze and without a doubt I can tell you that we arrived at the top tired, our legs were shaking but that was not an impediment to take great photos.
Posteriormente, paramos a almorzar un almuerzo típico, la carne escogida por cada cliente, arroz, huevo frito, tajada, ensalada y frijoles, este almuerzo estaba muy rico y muy completo, nosotros estábamos a gusto con el, además que el sitio se prestaba para hacernos un par de fotos aquí, una vista espectacular y flores preciosas.
Later, we stopped to have a typical lunch, the meat chosen by each client, rice, fried egg, slice, salad and beans, this lunch was very rich and very complete, we were comfortable with it, and the site lent itself to take a couple of photos here, a spectacular view and beautiful flowers.
La siguiente parada fue visitar el Pueblo de Guatapé, visitar la Calle de los Recuerdos y visitar a la Plazoleta de los Zócalos y el malecón, vaya que es muy colorido y asombroso este pueblo, nuestro amigo José era nuestro fotógrafo personal, se encargaba de hacernos las casi 600 fotos que nos hicimos en todos los sitios, la verdad es que hizo un buen trabajo, nos encantó mucho las sombrillas coloridas.
The next stop was to visit the town of Guatapé, visit the Calle de los Recuerdos and visit the Plazoleta de los Zócalos and the boardwalk, this town is very colorful and amazing, our friend José was our personal photographer, he was in charge of making us the almost 600 photos that we took in all the places, the truth is that he did a good job, we really loved the colorful umbrellas.
Por supuesto no podíamos dejar pasar el Parque Central y la replica del antiguo peñol, si deciden viajar a Medellín, les aconsejo hacer este tour, sale muy barato y es muy completo, todos nosotros quedamos a gusto y nos dejaron en la puerta de la casa. Este viaje en tour es de 7 am hasta las 7 pm debido a que Guatapé es alejado de Medellin.
Of course we could not miss the Central Park and the replica of the old peñol, if you decide to travel to Medellín, I advise you to do this tour, it is very cheap and it is very complete, all of us were at ease and they left us at the door of the house . Y por ultimo y no menos importante, otra parte del Tour que también esperábamos era el Tour en barco por la Represa de Guatapé donde nos pusieron salvavidas, había buena música y nos enseñaron la casa propiedad del futbolista James Rodriguez y la casa que el narcotraficante Pablo Escobar le regalaría a la hermana y a su hija, una de ellas está completamente deteriorada.
