Watch How Clouds Are Being Made: Peñón de Ifac in Calpe - Spain

Witnessing this strange weather phenomenon was so cool. We've seen clouds being produced, well ... in the mountains but we've never seen clouds developing like this near sea level.

The Peñón de Ifac is a rock situated at the coast at the Mediterranean Sea and is 332 meter high and is the main attraction of Calpe. You can climb it and have amazing views over the two bays which line this city (stay tuned to see a video of the hike up).

On this evening we decided to walk into the Calpe Old Town and after exploring the small streets, we decided to head down to the coast to order two sunset beers.

This is when we saw the Peñón de Ifac pumping out these clouds. During the 3 nights we've only seen the rock turning into a cloud machine only once.

Anyone can explain this?
