Transylvania is probably one of the best areas you could spend time in while you are in Romania and no matter how long your vacation is, the time will never be in your favour to discover absolutely everything it has to offer.
But what I love so much about Transylvania is that there are a bunch of things to visit and explore which are directly linked to new sightseeing attractions. So you can take a random walk to a place, but most likely your adventure won't stop there because you'll encounter lots of other markers leading to some more gems offered by nature or by the stories from the past.
Our journey began with a short drive to a castle we've discovered on the map but which we couldn't access due to different reasons but which has been fast replaced with a War Cemetery that offered us a completely different perspective about what bad times truly means and that we should appreciate more what we have until it's too late and we'll miss it.
However, our journey couldn't come to an end before we are reconnecting with nature so we hit the road one more time on the realms of Ramet Gorges which helped us taste the feeling of the adrenaline pumping in our veins one more time. Though, not too far from these gorges, there are some newer ones which have been arranged back in 2000, that are a perfect location to chill out and relax far away from people and traffic noise, called Iacobdeal Gorges

- Cimitirul De Onoare Turnu Rosu (War Cemetery)
- Cheile Râmețului (Ramet Gorges)
- Cheile Întregalde (Întregalde Gorges)
All three places presented are pretty close to each other, composing a great plan for a one day trip, and they can be found on the western side of Transylvania, Romania. Though, keep in mind that you should visit the gorges during the summer for a proper experience :)
