There are these places out there where you have to drive a long way until you reach them but which are going to make you feel like it was totally worth it, while at the opposite pole are the locations found very close to you but with a long and rich list of things you can see around.

Today's video is going to present the 2nd situation in which even though we were roaming just a small part of the map, we literally didn't know how to split our time so we won't miss any of the things that were waiting for our visit, so do expect a video with quite a few places that are a must to add on your bucket list if you ever visit this part of Romania. 😀

Anyway, today you'll see just 5 of the many locations we discovered while spending a few days in Buzau county, so if you want an even longer list, there are a few more episodes to watch that are no less interesting.

However, since I already discussed about these when their time came, now we should focus on today's picks which are a mix of everything, getting to see a lake that even though is a very wild and peaceful place, all the way to it will be a real pain for the car, lol. Happily, the lake is the single one which came with this sacrifice while the other 4 spots are a little bit more accessible for both cars and tourists who prefer hiking instead of choosing the fast option.

The first stop was unplanned to a rock which from the distance it seemed like a tiny mountain of salt which wouldn't be weird to meet since in the same region there are some spectacular mountains of salt but which we failed to reach due to the lack of road signs and information of how to get there, so we had to say thank you for the place we discovered instead and leave with the thought that maybe in a few years we will meet the spot we had in plan initially.

From there we moved to some interesting stones which are called trovants and are bringing lots of curious eyes with their properties of growing up just like a plant grows over time. Not to mention about their interesting shapes which will remind you of the UFOs and other unusual things. These are also my favourite place out of the things you will see in the video.

Though, we didn't stop there and moved on to the lake I already told you about, being followed by a genuine piece of history with a fountain built as a 'thank you' to one of the biggest heroes of Romania.

Our journey came to an end at the first waterfall we've seen in 2021 which even though was turned into a very accessible place for anyone who wants to reach it being able to do it by driving very close to it, I'm happy it managed to keep its properties making you feel a special connection to it as soon as you get there. Additionally, it comes with a cool legend that way too few know about.

Here's the links to the places you will see in the video which you can read more about:

This also represents the 3rd episode from our yearly road trip around Romania and I can't wait to release all the episodes with the places we explored in 2021! 😁
