Have a Break, Let's Take a Deep Breathe at the People's Park ๐Ÿคพโ€โ™€

Free Internet for all visitors

It has been a while since I visited this place the last time was in the first quarter of this year, people go here for different reasons, one is that there is a free Wi-Fi wherein you can just sit down in one of the benches and relax while using the internet connection. Other reason is for physical fitness both young and old ones take a walk or jog.

Remembering Golden Memories

I had good memories in this place when I had a security training, my physical strength was tested, with my colleagues we jogged around the oval 3 times after the army dozen exercise, it was fun at the same time so tiring.

Pigeons Flock Here Too

There are also pigeons here wherein kids like chasing them when these birds flock together and seeing it fly up in the sky then come back together.

Safe Haven for Students

There are also students who gather in groups practicing for their school performance such as dance presentation, speech choir or meeting for school work.

Restrooms and Drinking Stations are available

Parents don't have to worry as the comfort rooms are clean and there is access to clean water too safe for drinking.

Child Friendly Zone

Parents and children can also do activities as a family. This park was also a venue for family fun run or fun walk.

Children's Playground

There is a special corner for kids wherein they can play barefoot on the swings, see-saw, slides and the likes.

There is a gate to enter for the children to play at the playground also leave their footwear.

Photobooth Corner

There's a fun corner intended for adults and children who likes to take photographs of themselves especially tourists who are not residents of Davao or even locals who likes to have souvenirs of the place.

King of Fruits Corner

There's also a sculpture for this fruit, as the country's Durian Capital.

Durian Shaped Museum Temporarily Closed

Due to the strong earthquakes and aftershocks last October, the nearby museum inside the park was cordoned, the security guard said it will reopen tentatively on the second week of December.

Philippine Eagle Sculpture

Inside the park there are lots of artworks designed by Kublai Millan for what Davao City is known for, one special piece is dedicated for the endangered Philippine Eagle, as the Eagle Sanctuary of the Philippines.

Diverse Cultures Sculpture

The artist brilliantly blended the 3 major groups of people living in the Davao region.

These 3 groups of people may have different beliefs but stand united.

Adults and children are reminded of their proper waste disposal when inside the premises of the park.

While exercising like taking a walk or jogging, a signage for solo or group picture can be taken here.

At the entrance there's a rainbow colored welcome while at night it will be full of lights.

Wow! It's a perfect place especially having a free wifi, it's best nice that they are child friendly and showing no differences in culture and beliefs, Muslim, Christians and Lumad showing in that place of unity and love. truly the perfect place to visit. โ™ฅ๏ธ

Wow ay ang ganda ng Peopleโ€™s Park ngayon ๐Ÿ˜ i love how it remains a relaxing spot for everyone from families students fitness enthusiasts at pati mga visitors na gusto lang magpahinga habang naka free WiFi. The sculptures by Kublai Millan are always a highlight lalo na yung Philippine Eagle at cultural pieces. Ang daming pwedeng gawin dito kaya perfect talaga for bonding jogging or just clearing your mind namiss ko tuloy ang Davao!
