Hello Pinmapple readers, it's been a long time since I shared anything here. Because I haven't traveled much in the last month. There were a few places I went to but I couldn't take good photos in them either. The other day @macchiata wrote an article about the dark side of travels. Honestly, all my travels are like that. I do almost all my trips by bus and it takes a very long time. I have a lot of problems on these travels. Today I will share one of these travels with you.
I was going from Adana to Şanlıurfa (to my girlfriend) and the journey would take about 5 hours. So it is a classic bus journey. The weather was extremely hot and the sun was scorching me, I think it was 43 degrees. I don't understand how people can continue their normal life in such heat. Anyway, I got on the bus but I took my bag with me because I was going to take my laptop with me. I was sitting in a single seat and I put the laptop under my seat. So I couldn't stretch my legs comfortably and my legs hurt.
As the journey continued, I was trying to watch the scenery but the girl sitting behind me kept pushing and pulling the curtain. She kept doing it despite my pleading and I couldn't take it anymore so I fixed the curtain somewhere. I must say she ruined a lot of good photos, this is one of them.
The only thing I love about traveling is the destination. And that's because it's with my girlfriend. Other than that, it's usually very boring and frustrating for me. Before an hour had passed on the bus, some kids started crying and running around in the bus. One of them came and tried to bite my leg!? Of course I don't have a photo of this moment but I wish I did. You all should have witnessed this legendary moment. I also had a real headache because of the children's voices. I tried to sleep but I was not sleepy at all. So I tried to spend time on Instagram and Hive on my phone.
These cars are another reason why I didn't take good photos on the trip. Just when I think I've got a great shot, a car gets in the way and ruins it. Just when I see a perfect sunset view, trees get in the way. Could you please excuse me for a moment?
Another thing that caught my attention was the empty fields. There are so many empty fields, a few months ago when I was traveling from Adana to the village there were not so many empty fields. But I don't know what was planted and what will be planted now. I hope it won't be empty because Adana's fields are very fertile. It ranks first in cotton production in Turkey.
Somehow I spent the time and tried not to hear those children crying. We came to the end of the journey. I got off the bus and looked for my luggage for a while because the bus driver couldn't remember where he put it. Fortunately, we found it and I took a deep sigh of relief that it was over.
As soon as I got off the bus, somehow my phone broke. The screen was working and suddenly it stopped working. I got really frustrated lol. I had dropped it before and it kept working, I really don't know why it broke at that moment. I mean, the phone could have broken even if I wasn't traveling, but it broke on the way, right? So I can add this to the problems I had on the journey. This was the last photo I took before the phone broke.
I hope you enjoyed reading it. In this post I ranted about things I have experienced on special trips. I don't normally do that, but I guess I needed to vent about it. Merhaba Pinmapple okurları, burada bir şey paylaşmayalı uzun zaman oldu. Çünkü geçtiğimiz ay çok bir yer gezmedim. Birkaç gittiğim yer oldu ama onlarda da güzel fotoğraflar çekemedim. Geçen gün @macchiata yolculukların karanlık yanına dair bir yazı yazmıştı. Açıkçası benim bütün yolculuklarım o şekilde geçiyor. Neredeyse bütün yolculuklarımı otobüsle yapıyorum ve çok uzun sürüyor. Bu yolculuklarda bir sürü problem yaşıyorum. Bugün sizlerle bu yolculuklarımdan birini paylaşacağım.
Adana'dan Şanlıurfa'ya(kız arkadaşımın yanına) gidiyordum ve yolculuk yaklaşık 5 saat sürecekti. Yani klasik bir otobüs yolculuğu. Hava aşırı sıcaktı ve güneş beni kavuruyordu sanırım 43 derece falandı. İnsanlar bu kadar sıcakta normal hayatına nasıl devam edebiliyor anlayamıyorum. Her neyse, otobüse bindim ama laptopumu yanıma alacağım için çantamı yanıma aldım. Tek kişilik koltukta oturuyordum ve laptopu da koltuğumun altına koydum. Bu yüzden giderken ayaklarımı rahatça uzatamadım ve bacaklarım ağrıdı.
Yolculuk devam ederken manzarayı izlemeye çalışıyordum ama arkamda oturan kız sürekli perdeyi itip çekiyordu. Rica etmeme rağmen yapmaya devam etti ve ben de dayanamayıp perdeyi bir yere sabitledim. Bir sürü güzel fotoğrafı mahvettiğini söylemeliyim. Bu onlardan biri.
Yolculuk yaparken tek sevdiğim şey gideceğim yer. O da kız arkadaşımın yanı olduğu için. Onun dışında genelde benim için çok sıkıcı ve sinir bozucu oluyor. Otobüste 1 saat geçmeden birkaç çocuk ağlamaya otobüsün içinde oradan oraya koşmaya başladı. Bir tanesi gelip bacağımı ısırmaya çalıştı!? Tabi ki bu anın bir fotoğrafı yok ama olmasını dilerdim. Hepiniz bu efsanevi ana şahitlik etmeliydiniz. Ayrıca çocukların sesleri yüzünden başım gerçekten ağrıdı. Uyumaya çalıştım ama hiç uykum yoktu. Ben de telefonda İnstagram ve Hive'de zaman geçirmeye çalıştım.
Yolculukta güzel fotoğraflar çekemememin bir diğer sebebi de bu arabalar. Tam harika bir kare yakaladığımı düşünüyorum ama araya bir araba giriyor ve mahvediyor. Tam mükemmel bir gün batımı manzarası görüyorum araya ağaçlar giriyor. Lütfen biraz izin verir misiniz?
Dikkatimi çeken bir diğer şey de bomboş tarlalar oldu. Bir sürü boş tarla var, bundan birkaç ay önce Adana'dan köye giderken bu kadar boş tarla yoktu. Ama ne ekiliydi ve şu an ne ekilecek bilmiyorum. Umarım boş kalmaz çünkü Adana'nın tarlaları çok verimli. Türkiye'de pamuk üretimi konusunda birinci sırada.
Bir şekilde zaman geçirdim ve o çocuk ağlamalarını duymamaya çalıştım. Yolculuğun sonuna geldik. Otobüsten indim ve bir süre valizimi aradım. Çünkü muavin nereye koyduğunu hatırlayamadı. Neyse ki bulduk ve bittiği için derin bir oh çektim.
Otobüsten iner inmez bir şekilde telefonum bozuldu. Ekranı çalışıyordu ve birden çalışmamaya başladı. Gerçekten çok sinirim bozuldu. Daha önce düşürmüştüm ve çalışmaya devam etmişti niye o an bozulduğunu gerçekten bilmiyorum. Yani aslında telefon yolculuk yapmasam da bozulabilirdi ama sonuçta yolda bozuldu değil mi? Bu yüzden bunu da yolculukta yaşadığım problemlere ekleyebilirim. Telefon bozulmadan önce çektiğim son fotoğraf da buydu.

2006 senesinin yaz günüydü. Dayımın düğünü için İstanbul’daydım. Dönerken kalabalık olduğumuz için otobüs tercih ettik. İstanbul-Van 24 saat :)) Hayatımdaki son uzun otobüs yolculuğum bu oldu.
Ben teyzem ve iki çocuğu, yengem ve bir çocuğu. Yani 6 kişiydik. Yüklerimiz: 3 valiz, 7 koli ve 2 halı :)) ayy çok komiktik ya.
24 saatlik yolculuğumuz otobüsün iki kez arızalanmasından dolayı 33 saate yükseldi😊
Yazın ortasında sabahın 5’inde ilk arıza Sivas’ta yaşandı. O kadar soğuktu ki kışın ortasında gibiydik.
İkinci ve en kötü arıza da Muş’ta yaşandı. Orada aracı değiştirmek zorunda kaldılar. Muş’tan Van’a kadar belediye otobüsüyle gitmek zorunda kaldık🤦🏻♀️☺️
En kötüsü de muavinin bagajdaki yükleri değiştirmesiyle yaşandı. Çocuk o kadar yoruldu ki tüm bagajları yeni otobüse taşırken. Abla diyo yani bu halıların burada ne işi var, Van’da halı mı yok😅😅o kadar haklıydı ki. Her saniyesinde yengem ve teyzeme söylenip durdum zaten bu yüzden☺️

Benimkinden daha kötüymüş. Babam da minibüs şoförü olduğu için o muavini o kadar anlıyorum ki 😂. Umarım kimse böyle şeyler yaşamaz ya. Otobüs arızaları çok sıkıntı oluyor. Bir keresinde benim de başıma geldi. Çok kötüydü, şu an anlatmayacağım ama belki başka bir zaman anlatırım 🤣

This reminded me of the zombie apocalypse movies, lol. 🤣 I'm sure glad I didn't have to go through all these mishaps during my previous travels, and also hope not to encounter one someday - fingers crossed. But life is unpredictable, so who knows? Happy you came out in one piece after that unforgettable bus ride. 😊

hahaha they are annoying bunch. I had this experience many times even inside the train. Child biting your leg is just another level😂 they are crying inside is already a problem but biting your leg lol
Yeah that was the most interesting experience in my life. Nobody bite my leg before hahaha.
