While I was riding a bike today, I suddenly saw such beautiful pictures hanging on the fence of the marketplace. I admit that I felt surprised that someone placed their works of art in such a place ... but on the other hand, why not? It turned out to be an exhibition of works by Waldek Borowski entitled "Frequency", and these pictures were displayed here as part of the so-called Passer-by gallery.
Gdy jechałam dzisiaj na rowerze, zobaczyłam nagle takie piękne obrazki wiszące na ogrodzeniu targowiska. Przyznam, że poczułam się zaskoczona, że w takim miejscu ktoś umieścił swoje dzieła sztuki... ale z drugiej strony, czemu nie? Okazało się, że to wystawa dzieł Waldka Borowskiego pt. "Częstotliwość", a te obrazki zostały tu wystawione w tzw. Galerii Przechodniej.
Passer-by gallery is an outdoor gallery operating simultaneously in several dozen cities in Poland. The gallery is non-commercial in nature - it does not display any advertisements. It is an exhibition space in which graphics, photos, poems, and even clothes can be hung. The viewer of the gallery can be any passerby who stops to view the presented art.

Galeria Przechodnia to galeria zewnętrzna działająca równocześnie w kilkudziesięciu miastach w Polsce. Galeria ma charakter niekomercyjny - nie wystawia reklam. To przestrzeń wystawiennicza, w ramach której mogą wisieć grafiki, zdjęcia, wiersze, a nawet ubrania. Widzem galerii może byc każdy przechodzień, który zatrzyma się obejrzeć prezentowaną sztukę.

I liked these colorful, psychedelic, and surreal pictures that alluded to spirituality, psychology, and parapsychology.
Podobały mi się te kolorowe, takie jakby psychodeliczne i surrealistyczne obrazki, które nawiązywały w treści do duchowości, psychologii, parapsychologii.
All in all, a nice idea, someone can go to the market to buy potatoes, carrots and other vegetables, or fruit, and when entering it or on the way back, take care of their need for communing with art ;) They do not have to go to any special place for this purpose, the fence around the marketplace is enough. What do you think about such an exhibition? Probably you have already seen similar exhibitions, since they are held in dozens of cities in Poland, and maybe something similar is organized by artists in other places around the world ...
W sumie fajny pomysł, ktoś może pójść na targ kupić ziemniaki, marchewkę i inne wawrzywa, czy owoce, a wchodząc na niego, albo w drodze powrotnej zadbać o swoją potrzebę obcowania ze sztuką ;) Nie musi iść w tym celu w żadne specjalne miejsce, wystarczy ogrodzenie targowiska. A wy co sądzicie o takiej wystawie? Pewnie widzieliście już podobne wystawy, skoro odbywają sie one w kilkudziesięciu miastach w Polsce, a może i coś podobnego organizują artyści w innych miejscach na świecie...
