In Warsaw, in Powiśle, there is a great place for people who are interested in South Korea. It is the Korean Cultural Center. You can get to know Korean culture and cuisine better, learn the Korean language, and once there were taekwondo training, that is Korean martial arts training.
W Warszawie, na Powiślu istnieje świetne miejsce dla osób, które interesują się Koreą Południową. Jest to Centrum Kultury Korei. Można tu zapoznać się z kulturą koreańską, kuchnią, nauczyć języka koreańskiego, a kiedyś były tu prowadzone treningi taekwondo, czyli koreańskich sztuk walki.
At the entrance to the CKK there is an information point where mostly Koreans work. When I entered the center, a Korean woman who was working there measured my temperature and I had to disinfect my hands. But after a while I was able to explore the center, and there are several interesting exhibitions here. I have already shown you a traditional Korean room, and in this post you will be able to see interesting exhibits from other exhibitions.
Przy wejściu do CKK znajduje się punkt informacyjny, w którym pracują przeważnie Koreańczycy. Gdy weszłam do centrum Koreanka, która miała wtedy zmianę zmierzyła mi temperaturę, musiałam też zdezynfekować ręce. Ale po chwili mogłam już na spokojnie zwiedzać centrum, a znajduje się tu kilka ciekawych wystaw. Pokazywałam wam już tradycyjny koreański pokój, a w tym poście będziecie mogli zobaczyć ciekawe eksponaty z innych wystaw.

In the center you can read Korean books and magazines. In the past, you could also borrow books from the large library, but I don't know what it looks like during a pandemic.
W centrum można poczytać koreańskie książki i czasopisma. Kiedyś można było też wypożyczać książki z pokaźnej biblioteki, ale nie wiem jak to wygląda w czasie pandemii.
The permanent exhibition at the Korea Cultural Center is cool, thanks to which you can get acquainted with various areas of life in Korea. For example, below you can see traditional Korean clothes - hanbok and Korean dolls. The dolls are cute - it's a girl and a boy in folk costumes.
Bardzo fajna jest stała wystawa w Centrum Kultury Korei dzięki której można się zapoznać z różnymi dziedzinami życia w Korei. Np. poniżej możecie zobaczyć tradycyjne koreańskie stroje - hanboki oraz koreańskie lalki. Lalki są urocze - to dziewczynka i chłopiec w ludowych strojach.
These are boxes made of Korean paper. Interesting fact. Korean paper is very durable. As it was written in the exhibition: "it retains its appearance unchanged for over a thousand years. It is made from cooked mulberry shrub stalks, ash from burnt rice stalks and "kwangchokkju" (hibiscus) root. It is created in a complicated process which consists in boiling all the ingredients, mashing them, soaking the resulting mixture in water and mashing them again.

Powstaje w skomplikowanym procesie polegającym na ugotowaniu wszystkich składników, tłuczeniu ich, namoczeniu w wodzie powstałej mieszanki oraz ponownego tłuczenia."

These instruments look great, you can see that every detail has been refined, there are even tags with characteristic Korean patterns. I like the way the musician communicates with the audience during such a concert and that he improvises a lot, that the music is made with the audience. So it's a very lively process in which you can actively participate, and not play a piece again in the same form.
Świetnie wyglądają te instrumenty, widać, że dopracowano każdy szczegół, są nawet przywieszki z charakterystycznymi koreańskimi wzorkami. Podoba mi się sposób w jaki muzyk komunikuje się z widownią podczas takiego koncertu i że dużo improwizuje, że muzyka tworzona jest razem z widownią. Czyli taki bardzo żywy proces, w którym można aktywnie uczestniczyć, a nie odgrywanie jakiegoś utworu kolejny raz w takiej samej formie.
The middle part of this instrument looks a bit like a dryer. I wonder what it sounds like.
Środkowa część tego instrumentu przypomina mi trochę z wyglądu suszarkę. Ciekawe jak brzmi.
