It was about time me and @illusivelf hit the road and this time we decided to visit one of Thessaloniki's closest summer destinations.
I am talking about "Nea Kallikratia", a small but really alive village located between Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki and had a blast drinking Mojitos and watching a beautiful sunset.

Since we don't have a car we had to take the bus there and lucky us it was only a 30 minutes ride 'till we reach our destination.
The first thing we did when we arrived was to go grab something to eat and right after that we started walking around the village of "Nea Kallikratia". In my surprise, the place was really crowded from the moment we got there until the moment we left.

It was getting very hot during our walk so it was time to relax at a beach bar and drink some cocktails.
The beach bar we chose was quite, had a really tasty Mojito and had this really awesome DIY umbrellas made from reeds. Gotta love DIY stuff!
Both me and @illusivelf love to explore every inch of the places we visit so once the temperature cooled off a bit we walked to the rocky side of the beach and found an awesome spot to relax and drink a few cold ones.

Our 1-day trip was totally worth it and I think that "Nea Kallikratia" is a really legit choise if you're looking for a place to go for a swim near Thessaloniki.

This looks like an awesome spot man! Glad you were able to take some time off and go out and enjoy yourselves! You often don't have to go far to have a good time which is awesome. Hope you and your lady are doing well man!

I've got 10 days off coming soon so that's going to be nice, not sure what we are going to do for it, we may just take a bunch of day drives to places. Aren't specifically sure! I'm just looking forward to not working for a bit lol been busy as hell!
That's awesome that you've got some great stuff near you, we are fortunate to have that as well! Many places have beautiful things near them if you take the time to look around and explore. It would be nice to go to Hawaii for sure but at the same time, there are beaches and places near everyone that have a different beauty to them so that's great!
