Over time I realized that there are different types of travelers based on what each one likes to see: there are those who enjoy visiting cities and seeing the different types of architecture in each place, others give more importance to gastronomy or history and then there are those like me who enjoy pure green spaces and natural landscapes. Give me beautiful green and rocky spaces and I will be happy forever, as I was when I met Tanti, a small town in Córdoba with a charming spa 💛.
Con el tiempo me dí cuenta que hay distintos tipos de viajeros en base a lo que a cada uno les gusta ver: hay quienes disfrutan visitar ciudades y ver los distintos tipos de arquitectura de cada lugar, otros le dan más importancia a la gastronomía o a la historia y después estan los que son como yo que disfrutan de puros espacios verdes y paisajes naturales. A mí denme hermosos espacios verdes y rocosos y seré feliz para siempre, como lo fui cuando conocí Tanti, un pequeño pueblito cordobés con un encantador balneario 💛.
We arrived in this small town with our entire group of travelers. We had left quite early in the morning and after an hour we arrived there, very close to noon and quite hungry of course. We had the opportunity to visit the surroundings before arriving at the spa itself, which came in handy to stretch our legs and get some fresh air 😃.
Llegamos a este pequeño pueblo con todo nuestro grupo de viajeros. Habíamos salido bastante temprano en la mañana y después de una hora llegamos allí, muy cerca del mediodía y con bastante hambre, por supuesto. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar los alrededores antes de llegar al balneario en sí, lo que nos vino muy bien como para estirar las piernas y tomar un poco de aire fresco 😀.
The guides recommended that it was better to have lunch first and then go out to explore the place, so we recharged energy before starting the walk. In this spa there is a small restaurant run by its owner and with a menu of homemade food at affordable prices. There is an option to eat inside or outside looking at a bit of the river water. My friend and I chose the second option, but far from eating something light, we ordered a large plate of ricotta and walnut ravioli that were excellent! We were super satisfied, so much so that it even made us a little sleepy but we had to continue the walk 😂.
Los guías nos recomendaron que era mejor tomar el almuerzo primero y luego salir a recorrer el lugar, así recargabamos energía antes de emprender la caminata. En este balneario hay un pequeño restaurante atendido por su dueña y con una carta con comida casera a precios accesibles. Hay opción para comer adentro o afuera mirando un poco del agua del río. Mi amiga y yo elegimos la segunda opción, pero lejos de comer algo liviano, ordenamos un gran plato de ravioles de ricota y nuez que estaban ¡excelentes! Quedamos super satisfechas, tanto que hasta nos dió un poco de sueño pero había que seguir el paseo 😂.
The first thing you can see when you enter the spa is an artificial channel built for the river that flows into a tall cement waterfall. If you want to cross to the other side you have two options: cross a wooden and metal bridge or (the most fun option) cross some concrete blocks flush with the water and on the edge of the cliff 😅.
Lo primero que se puede ver al ingresar al balneario es un canal artificial construído para el río que desemboca en una alta cascada de cemento. Si deseas cruzar hacia el otro lado tenes dos opciones: cruzar por un puente de madera y metal o (la opción más divertida) cruzar por unos bloques de concreto al ras al agua y al borde del precipicio 😅.
The first time I crossed this bridge I wasn't brave enough to do it in sneakers so I took them off so they don't get wet. It was a bit dizzying because the water fell very close to the block path and behind it was a fairly large and high landscape, but it was a better experience than crossing the other bridge 😂.
La primera vez que crucé por este puente no fuí tan valiente como para hacerlo con zapatillas así que me las saqué para que no se mojen. Daba un poco de vértigo porque el agua caía muy cerca del camino de bloques y detrás había un paisaje bastante grande y alto, pero fue una experiencia mejor que cruzar por el otro puente 😂.
We start walking along the river to try to reach the famous Tanti waterfall. This tour does not last more than 15 minutes and is of low difficulty, so there were many children and older people walking there. The only problem we found is that there were some threatening clouds that paid attention to the forecast that announced rain that day. We had to hurry 😅.
Empezamos a caminar bordeando el río para intentar llegar a la famosa cascada de Tanti. Este recorrido no dura más de 15 minutos y es de dificultad baja, por lo que habían muchos niños y gente mayor caminando por allí. El único problema que encontramos es que habían unas nubes amenazantes que le hicieron caso al pronóstico que ese día anunciaba lluvia. Debíamos apurarnos 😅.
Fortunately, the rain let us reach the waterfall, but it was not for long because half an hour later it was already raining. Summer was just beginning, but the day had still been quite hot and the waterfall was somewhat crowded. I am not complaining about this because there are many people who want to know this place and we were part of them. The waterfall was not very high or with much volume, maybe 5 meters high but that was enough to give a nice touch to the whole place ❤️.
Afortunadamente, la lluvia nos dejó llegar hasta la cascada, pero no fue por mucho porque media hora después ya estaba lloviendo. Apenas comenzaba el verano, pero igual el día había estado bastante caluroso y la cascada estaba algo concurrida. No me quejo de esto porque hay mucha gente que quiere conocer este lugar y nosotros éramos parte de ellos. La cascada no era muy alta ni con mucho volumen, tal vez unos 5 metros de alto pero que eran suficientes para darle un buen toque a todo este lugar ❤️.
We stayed as long as we could while the rain was light, but then it got heavier and heavier. We had to take the way back very carefully because the rocks were slippery and quite verdigris. Luckily no one had an accident so the crossing was successful. When we were back at the entrance to the spa, the sun came out but the rain continued. Around here we say that when that happens it's because "a witch is getting married". Do you say the same in your area? 😂
Estuvimos todo lo que pudimos mientras la lluvia era ligera, pero luego cada vez era más y más intensa. Tuvimos que emprender el camino de regreso con mucho cuidado porque las rocas eran resbalosas y con bastante verdín. Por suerte nadie se accidentó así que la travesía fue exitosa. Cuando estuvimos de nuevo en la entrada del balneario, salió el sol pero la lluvia continuaba. Por aquí decimos que cuando eso pasa es porque "se está casando una bruja". ¿Por tu zona dicen lo mismo? 😂
Tanti town seems to be a fairly quiet place for those who use their travel time to rest. The town has some places to host tourists and some businesses to buy basic supplies. If you want some green and landscape, just go to the spa. I love these types of places, I believe that nature will never stop surprising me and I hope so ❤️.
El pueblo de Tanti parece ser un lugar bastante tranquilo para aquellos que usen su tiempo de viaje para descansar. El pueblo tiene algunos lugares para hospedar turistas y algunos negocios para comprar insumos básicos. Si deseas algo de verde y paisaje, solo basta con acercarte al balneario. Me encantan este tipo de lugares, creo que la naturaleza nunca va a dejar de sorprenderme y espero que así sea ❤️.
