As the vaccination progresses in Argentina, I can't help but get excited about the illusion that everything will return a little to normal and we can live as before. I love walks and trips, but in the current situation it is difficult because this virus is unpredictable and nobody wants to get sick while away from home. Fortunately, at the beginning of the year, when there was a downward trend in cases of Coronavirus, tourism was enabled and my friend and I were able to take a somewhat improvised trip through our country. This led us to the city of Merlo, in San Luis, Argentina ❤️.
Mientras avanza la vacunación en Argentina no puedo evitar emocionarme frente a la ilusión de que todo vuelva un poco a la normalidad y podamos vivir como antes. Me encantan los paseos y los viajes, pero en la situación actual se hace difícil porque este virus es impredecible y nadie quiere enfermarse estando lejos de casa. Afortunadamente, a principio de año, cuando hubo una tendencia a la baja de casos de Coronavirus, se habilitó el turismo y mi amiga y yo pudimos hacer un viaje algo improvisado por nuestro país. Esto nos llevó hasta la ciudad de Merlo, en San Luis, Argentina ❤️.
Every time I go on a trip I confirm that my country has some beautiful places. In April, after taking a zipline ride, we continued our walk through the Merlo area until we reached a nearby river, called Pasos Malos. I would like to know the reason for this particular name 😅.
Cada vez que hago un viaje confirmo que mi país tiene unos lugares preciosos. En Abril, luego, de pasear en tirolesa, seguimos nuestro paseo por la zona de Merlo hasta llegar al un río cercano, llamado Pasos Malos. Me gustaría saber el por qué de este nombre tan particular 😅.
This river was a really quiet place. The water flow was quite fast but not deep at all. To cross, you had to be careful not to slip. As you can see, everything was full of white rocks and some of them had verdigris.
Este río era un lugar realmente tranquilo. El caudal de agua era bastante rápido pero para nada profundo. Para cruzar, tenías que hacerlo con cuidado para no resbalarte. Como pueden ver, todo estaba lleno de rocas blancas y algunas de ellas tenían verdín.
The most beautiful thing about this river is that its water was completely crystal clear. At first, getting your feet wet was a bit difficult because it was completely freezing and even though it was still sunny, you didn't stop feeling cold.
Lo más hermoso de este río es que su agua era completamente cristalina. Al principio, mojarse los pies costaba un poco porque estaba completamente helada y a pesar de que aún había sol, no dejabas de sentir frío.
Our dog companion didn't want to get his paws wet one bit. He had to be carried like a baby to the other side of the river. I wish someone had carried me too 😂.
Nuestro compañero perruno no quiso mojarse las patas ni un poco. Tuvo que ser cargado como un bebé hasta el otro lado del río. Ojalá alguien me hubiese cargado a mí también 😂.
After getting used to the frozen water, we got halfway up. The courage only reached us for that and for the photo. Without a doubt a beautiful place that deserves to be remembered. Luckily, the day had been beautiful and we drink "mates" all afternoon until the sun went down and the cold brought us back to our lodging 😅.
Después de acostumbrarnos al agua congelada, nos metimos hasta la mitad del cuerpo. La valentía solo nos alcanzó para eso y para la foto. Sin dudas un lugar hermoso que merece ser recordado. Por suerte, el día había estado hermoso y tomamos mates toda la tarde hasta que bajó el sol y el frío nos devolvió a nuestro hospedaje 😅.
I'm increasingly convinced that domestic tourism is what I love to do. I hope that when the pandemic ends, or at least the health situation has improved, it will be possible to travel again. I think there are still many beautiful places where I should be, and I will be there ❤️!
Cada vez estoy más convencida de que el turismo interno es lo que me encanta hacer. Espero que cuando la pandemia finalice, o por lo menos la situación sanitaria haya mejorado, se pueda volver a viajar. Pienso que aún quedan muchos lugares hermosos en los que debería estar, ¡y voy a estar ahí ❤️!

es un lugar mágico y lleno de aventura.
