This second quarter of the year, I discovered such a gem: the New Bilad-Bilad River Resort in Norzagaray, Bulacan, Philippines. Just a little over an hour’s motorcycle ride from our house, the trip itself was already refreshing. But what awaited us was even better. With my boyfriend and his friends, we set out on a Saturday to unwind, laugh, and soak in nature’s calm embrace.
The ride to Norzagaray was smooth and energizing. The anticipation built as we passed through scenic roads, feeling the wind against our faces. There’s something about traveling by motorcycle that makes the journey part of the adventure. It’s raw, freeing, and connects you instantly to the environment around you. By the time we arrived, we were ready to relax and let the day unfold.
The resort greeted us with a sense of tranquility. The surroundings were clean, the river flowed gently, and the atmosphere was undeniably calming. Nice bond with your family, a little picnic and chikas. Such a momentous adventure can be cherish for a lifetime though it's not important to have a luxury resort or beach. I also love how they preserve that Bilad-Bilad river, so clean no trashes everywhere.
