Hello everyone today I will bring you to Ultra Winds Mountain Resort, located just about 30 minutes ride from our home. I think I'd been there 3 times already and would really want to go back in that beautiful resort , soon.
Ultra Winds, poised at the edge of the mountain, is a place you won't regret to visit if you want serenity, or if you want to be rejuvenated and relaxed with nature.
It also does have a fantastic view of the city and the best lap pool.
Or if you want a quality bonding time with your family, this is a perfect place to be.
When my daughter's fiancee came to Philippines for a vacation he wanted to spend a day with the whole family. And we decided to visit again the alluring Ultra Winds Mountain Resort. Even if its our second time to go there, we were still so excited.
Again just like what happened during our visit to Manjuyod Sandbar all expenses were paid by my future son-in-law LOL. So we were so lucky although the entrance fee and the other fees like when you will use the swimming pool or play table tennis is not that expensive.
We arrived there few hours before lunch. This is their reception area. Those who are still waiting for their companions can stay in this area before going inside the pool area.
Although we used private vehicles in going there, Ultra Winds also offers a free ride from the city proper and vice versa. This is one of their rides but they also have vans and small bus so going there is not really a problem to those who do not have cars.
They also have this welcome snacks, actually the 250 fee for the swimming pool comes with these snacks although I heard that it is not free anymore this time. In addition to our free snacks we also ordered chicken and other food for our lunch. If you observed in the photo below, the resort also has a live music band at their restaurant.
How to get there?
For Kagayanons or those who lived in Cagayan de Oro City going there is so easy. Although the exact location of the resort is part of another province which is Bukidnon but there's an easier access for us here in Cagayan de Oro to go there compared to people from Bukidnon.
Ultra Winds Mountain Resort is also easy to access from the Laguindingan airport. Aside from that you can also book your airport transfer in advance via online.
There's a lot of travel and tour agencies or websites that you can use to book your stay in Ultra winds. So that includes transportation from and back to the city proper or to the hotel where you stay.

- By private cars
- By Ultra Winds Shuttle service
- By Motorcycle
- By Bicycle
- By walk
Yes one can actually go there by foot and it would be a great exercise.
Things you can do in Ultra Winds Mountain Resort
- Zipline - If you love adventure you can try their high-speed 800 meters Zipline ride. The zipline ride is such an exciting experience, it passes through a deep gorge covered in trees, giving you a sweeping view of lush greenery.
- Indoor Games - The resort offers indoor games for 200 pesos per hour around 4 dollars. I'm sure you will also enjoy the time especially when you are playing with your family. They have table tennis, billiard and dart.
Horseback Riding
Infinity Pool - When we went there for the first time they still have one infinity pool but this time they already have 2. More than enough for their guests to unwind, swim and enjoy.

As you can see from the photos above the kids really had a wonderful time and so do I. We really enjoyed the moment that we stayed there until evening. The kids really made use of the remaining time swimming and playing.
To end this blog, I can say that the place is worth a visit, don't ever forget to visit Ultra Winds Mountain Resort if you happened to come to our place, Cagayan de Oro city.
