Hallo liebe Community,
zum Abschluss meiner Urlaubsberichterstattung möchte ich Euch heute das Prachtstück unseres Urlaubs näher vorstellen. Den Strand von Bloemendaal aan Zee.
Unser Appartement lag zwar direkt über dem Strand, so dass wir nie mit dem Auto fahren mussten aber auch die restlichen anreisenden Tagesausflügler hatten hier keine Probleme. Es gibt Parkplätze wie Sand am Meer. Auf dem zweiten Bild unser Ausblich aus dem Fenster, wunderbar oder?
Der Strand war schön breit und der Sand so fein wie fast nur in der Karibik. Direkt neben unserer Unterkunft lagen Mini-Hütten, die vornehmlich von Surfern genutzt wurde. Was kann es besseres geben als mit dem Board aus der Tür sozusagen direkt ins Meer zu fallen. Auch Strandbars gab es an diesem Abschnitt mehrere und abends verwandelten sich diese in Clubs, in denen der Beat donnerte. Haben wir aber nicht als störend empfunden.
Das Wasser war zwar schön frisch aber wenn man erstmal drin war, konnte man es gut aushalten. An zwei oder drei tagen war der Wind etwas stärker, so dass auch Kitesurfer voll auf ihre Kosten kamen. Und von denen gab es dann auch wirklich viele, scheinbar spricht sich das in der Szene rum wie ein Lauffeuer, wenn der Wind günstig steht. Schon krass was die für Sprünge mit diesen Dingern machen können, macht Spaß zuzusehen, auch wenn man selbst nicht fahren kann.
Täglich wurden auch sehr viele Quallen angespült. Im Wasser haben wir keine getroffen aber am Strand lag alle paar meter wieder eine. Meist relativ klein aber es waren auch ein paar große Brummer dabei. Die auf meinem Bild hatte einen Durchmesser von an die 30 Zentimetern.
Was auch neu für uns war, waren die Fischwagen, die täglich direkt auf dem Strand hin und her fuhren und ihre frittierten Leckereien verkauften. Und die frittieren alles 😆. Jegliche Fischsorten und mein neues Lieblingsgericht Mosselen also Muscheln. Die schön frittiert mit Dip dazu, könnte ich mich rein legen.
Aber am meisten werden mir die wundervollen Sonnenuntergänge in Erinnerung bleiben. Ein sattes orange-rot wenn die Sonne hier am Horizont im Meer versinkt. Fast immer wenig Wolken und wenig wind, einfach traumhaft. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen!

at the end of my vacation report I would like to introduce you today the splendor of our vacation more near. The beach of Bloemendaal aan Zee.
Our apartment was located directly above the beach, so we never had to go by car but also the rest of the arriving day trippers had no problems here. There are parking lots like sand at the sea. On the second picture our Ausblich from the window, wonderful or?
The beach was nice and wide and the sand as fine as almost only in the Caribbean. Right next to our accommodation were mini huts, which were mainly used by surfers. What can be better than to fall with the board out the door, so to speak, directly into the sea. There were also several beach bars in this section and in the evening they turned into clubs where the beat thundered. But we did not find it disturbing.
The water was nice and fresh but once you were in it, you could stand it. On two or three days the wind was a bit stronger, so that kitesurfers also got their money's worth. And there were really a lot of them, apparently it gets around in the scene like wildfire when the wind is favorable. It's amazing what jumps they can make with these things, it's fun to watch, even if you can't ride yourself.
Daily also very many jellyfish were washed up. In the water we have met none but on the beach lay every few meters again. Mostly relatively small but there were also some big ones. The one on my picture had a diameter of about 30 centimeters.
What was also new for us, were the fish trucks, which drove daily directly on the beach back and forth and sold their fried delicacies. And they deep fry everything 😆. Any kind of fish and my new favorite dish Mosselen so mussels. Those nicely deep fried with dip to go with them, I could dig in.
But most of all I will remember the wonderful sunsets. A rich orange-red when the sun sinks here on the horizon in the sea. Almost always little clouds and little wind, just gorgeous. We will surely come again!
