¡Hola amigos de Hive! En esta oportunidad tomo mi mochila y los invito a venir conmigo a un recorrido por mi país. Venezuela tiene hermosos parajes y quiero invitarles a que, a través de estas líneas y fotos, ustedes puedan conocerlos conmigo. Comenzaremos conociendo el estado donde vivo, así que ¡vamos a la playa!
In this tour, I will take you to Cata Bay, a jewel located in the central region of the country, in Ocumare de la Costa de Oro as its municipality is called. For me, one of the best beaches in Venezuela, my favorite.
En este recorrido, los llevaré hasta la Bahía de Cata, una joya ubicada en la región central del país, en Ocumare de la Costa de Oro como se llama su municipio. Para mí, una de las mejores playas que tiene Venezuela, mi favorita.
To get there, it is necessary to take the coastal road via Limon and cross the Henri Pittier National Park, which from certain stops, offers us an incredible view of the city of Maracay, besides that there is the Biological Station and Rancho Grande, which is a mandatory stop; there you can taste exquisite pork rind arepas and a delicious cup of chocolate.
Cata Bay has a great extension and fine sand, crystalline waters and great palms, it is a beach generally of great waves, although there are certain places like the pier, where the swell is smaller, an ideal place for the small ones of the family. In addition, it has services of awning, parking and restaurants, so that you spend a really pleasant day.
Para llegar hasta allá, es necesario tomar la carretera de la costa vía el Limón y atravesar el Parque Nacional Henri Pittier, el cual desde ciertas paradas, nos ofrece una vista increíble de la ciudad de Maracay, además de que ahí se encuentra la estación Biológica y Rancho Grande, que es una parada obligada; allí se puede degustar exquisitas arepas de chicharrón y un chocolate de taza espectacular.
La Bahía de Cata posee una gran extensión y finísima arena, aguas cristalinas y grandes palmeras, es una playa por lo general de grandes olas, aunque hay ciertos lugares como el embarcadero, donde el oleaje es menor, un lugar ideal para los pequeños de la familia. Además, cuenta con servicios de toldo, estacionamiento y restaurantes, para que pases un día realmente placentero.
Cata, for me, means remembrance of my childhood. I used to long for the days when we would go for these tours and it is something we have also transmitted to my nephews, who also enjoy this earthly paradise we have in our state since they were children.
Cata para mi significa remembranza de mi infancia. Yo esperaba con ansias los días en que iríamos a pasear y es algo que hemos transmitido también a mis sobrinos, quienes desde pequeños también disfrutan de este paraíso terrenal que tenemos en nuestro estado.
I am one of those people who, when going to the beach, spends a lot of time in the water, enjoying the beautiful weather that Cata offers. I go out for a little sunbathe and then go back to the water until it is time to leave. I also like to walk along the beach and get to the bay end where there is a river mouth, an ideal place to relax and have a good time.
Soy de las personas que cuando va a la playa pasa mucho tiempo en el agua, disfrutando el hermoso clima que ofrece Cata, salgo un poco a tomar sol y luego otra vez al agua hasta que llega el momento de irse. También me gusta mucho caminar por la orilla de la playa y llegar hasta el final de la bahía donde está la desembocadura de un río, un lugar ideal para relajarse y pasar un buen rato.
Si estás en Venezuela y quieres disfrutar un día diferente, te invito a visitar la hermosa Bahía de Cata, no te vas a arrepentir.
Hiciste que me remontara a mis 16 años, a un viaje familiar espectacular en Cata. Recuerdo que cerca de la playa también había un río y que el turista tenía la opción de bañarse o bien en agua salada o bien en agua dulce.
Los más aventureros de mi familia, incluida mi persona por supuesto, nos levantamos un día a las 4 de la mañana, sólo para apreciar el amanecer, sobre sus aguas.
