Holidays to Banda Aceh City, where almost all of its tourist attractions are surrounded by the sea, comparing one sea to another, starting from the management, state of the beach, sand structure, natural beauty, entrance fee facilities and other trivial things made us also feel a little bored . Therefore, spending the rest of our vacation in Banda Aceh City, we decided to take a vacation to the Rainbow Date Garden which is still in Banda Aceh City.
The Kurma Pelangi garden is located on Jalan Blang Bintang – Krueng Raya Number 4, Beurandeh, Grand Mosque, Aceh Besar District, Aceh. Once we get to this place, we will be greeted by a large gate in the shape of a Rainbow with bright colors and a large space inside. Even before entering, we can already see the many date palm trees from a distance and if people don't know, then these date palm trees are like palm trees that are widely available in Indonesia.
Date palm trees used to only exist in Middle Eastern countries, and the price was also very expensive, not only that, dates were usually only harvested once a year, and these date palms usually only lived in sandy soils like those in Eastern countries Central, if planted in Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, the date palm tree will grow fertile but nothing will bear fruit.
However, in recent years in Asian countries including Indonesia there have been many dates that have been cultivated, this date tree grows fertile and bears fruit, recently I found out that the date palm tree that grows in Indonesia is a date tree in Thailand, not the date palm tree in Thailand. The original date palm trees are from the Middle East, however, the enthusiasm of Indonesian citizens about the existence of this date tree is in great demand, including the Rainbow Date Garden in Banda Aceh City.
Entering the Rainbow Date Garden, we will see the extent of the date palm garden in this Rainbow Date Garden. I think this date palm garden exceeds one hectare in area. and it was a good fortune for us when we visited there, seeing the many date palm trees in the Rainbow Gardens had begun to bear fruit very heavily, and the date palm trees here were still as tall as my body. About 150 cm.. hey I'm so cute, right? However, we have not been able to taste the ripe dates here, because the dates are still green and not fully ripe. These green dates are also wrapped so that they do not fall and are not taken carelessly by visitors who come to this place.
This Pelangi Date Garden is located in a slightly hilly place so if you visit this place and are lazy to walk, you can rent an APV for one round of Rp. 10,000 or not up to U $ 1 Dollar. You can surround this place from end to end until you are satisfied treading the hilly road in this Pelangi park. It turns out that after arriving at Puncak, this park not only has date palm trees, but also has a swimming pool that you can use freely without being charged again.
From where the mini pool is located, not far from there there are huts so that visitors can take shelter and relax. From the top of this hill we can also see the beautiful scenery in this Rainbow Date Garden. What is clear is that there are many interesting photo spots in this garden that you can enjoy to fill your Social Media homepage.
In this date palm garden there is also a canteen that has a cool interior inside, from the outside this canteen also has a nice building with a cool selection of colors and building shapes. This canteen building is really very classic but has a luxurious impression, you can also relax in this canteen with many choices of menus and drinks here at low prices and very affordable in the pocket.
