Going to central Stockholm 😄
It has been a while to visit central Stockholm. Since the majority of the population in Sweden has been already vaccinated for two doses, the government has decided to lower almost all Covid19 regulations. I feel that more and more people have started more positive to go out and hang out with friends. Most people, including myself, have stopped wearing a face mask as well. I just feel so good to be back to "a normal life". 😃
From Stockholm station to Djurgården
Djurgården means "Animal Garden" in English. It is a small island near central Stockholm were used to be a royal hunting area for royal families. But, now it has been open to the public and has become one of my favorite places to visit in Stockholm. It was a bit cloudy when I visited there, but it was very relaxing to take a walk on the island.
Rosendals Trädgården - A beautiful cafe on the island 😆
We visited this beautiful cafe on the island called Rosendals Trädgården. In this garden, they sell very fresh vegetables, organic food, etc. Also, there is a cafe in the garden, so I would recommend you visiting there! You will love this cafe! (Please be careful that the cafe is closed in winter!)

Have you ever heard of the word "Fika"? I had never heard of it before I came to Sweden. However, it seems that "fika" is a very important part of Swedish culture. "Fika" means "having a cup of coffee/tea and eat some sweets with your friends and colleagues". According to Wikipedia, it says " The tradition has spread throughout Swedish businesses around the world.[29]Fika is a social institution in Sweden and the practice of taking a break with a beverage and snack is widely accepted as central to Swedish life.[30] - Wikipedia
Fika has become my favorite time in Sweden. It helps me communicate with my colleagues as well. It is a very good way to build a good team. It is amazing that 5 - 10 minutes of very casual conversation solve many small problems at work. It is a very productive way to enhance teamwork at your work. 😄👍👏👏 Well, but be careful that you eat too much! LOL! You can enhance teamwork, yet you may also gain some weight as I did!!
From September in Sweden, the day will become shorter and shorter after equinox day. People need to start taking some vitamin D pills not to become depressed during wintertime. I agree that some countries have done very strict regulations against Covid19 to save lives, however, I was wondering at the same time that it would not work in Sweden, especially after September. Because the day will become shorter and shorter, and more and more people become a bit depressed and if the government keeps strict regulations against Covid19 like other European nations, more people would suffer from depression but also Covid19 in Sweden. Therefore, I am glad that the government has been doing its best to control the spread of Covid19 before wintertime.
I hope that more and more countries will lower regulations against Covid19 as the number of the population who are vaccinated increases. I hope that we can spend time with our families this winter like a normal winter we used to have before Covid19. 😉🙏
