This is a special story, one of the most beautiful adventures I have experienced in my life. The story of a rafting center and our first rafting tour in Montenegro. It is a beautiful place, the meeting place of two rivers, Tara and Piva, a place of natural beauty and adventure.
Our two-day rafting adventure is an exceptional experience for all lovers of this type of "sport", the Tara River and its rapids. It's an ideal idea to escape from boring everyday life and really refresh yourself in these summer months. The length of this route is 18 km and the whole tour takes about 4-5 hours. The trip itself is very varied, from completely calm water to strong rapids that raise adrenaline.
Each rafting tour includes a skipper, that is, a guide who introduces us to all the places we pass through and talks about the historical facts of that place. Here I will show you some pictures that we took during this rafting tour, of course, some of my pictures so you can see how the whole process of preparation, that is, dressing for this kind of adventure looks like. It will probably seem to you that these clothes are too warm for summer time, however, when you release how cold the water of this river is at this time of the year, believe that this is the minimum clothing that should be worn.
As far as accommodation is concerned, the stay is carried out in camping complexes, camping houses in a natural environment. In the following, I will show you what our accommodation looked like, as well as some pictures of the food, which was phenomenal, just like everything else in this wonderful place. Enjoy! 😊
