Again we go to San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, almost like my second home, now in one of the points that I like most of the city, the El Jumeal dam, is located in an unbeatable spot, with the panoramic view of the city from the height is a must for visitors to the city and for its inhabitants themselves who use it for walking, training, relaxation, refreshment and much more. Being a person who was born on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, I always feel the need that every place I visit for a long time has that meeting point, that part of sea, lake, river or dam that gives a sense to the city and attracts me to lose my sight in the gentle movement of water with a horizon of nature.
I love how the dam when it is full, can form that mirror that reflects everything and gives those double images that leaves anyone mesmerized, this summer I was in Catamarca for the first time in this season, the dam looked very sad, it was very low and it did not rain for over a month, luckily almost at the end of the summer the rains managed to revitalize the rivers and so the dam El Jumeal returned to its normal level and gave us those beautiful views full of brightness.

Otra vez nos vamos a San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, casi como mi segunda casa, ahora en uno de los puntos que mas me gusta de la ciudad, el dique El Jumeal, esta ubicado en un punto inmejorable, con la vista panoramica de la ciudad desde la altura es un obligado para los visitantes de la ciudad y para su habitantes mismos que lo utilizan para pasear, entrenar, relajarse, refrescarse y mucho mas. Yo al ser una persona que nació en la costa del oceano atlántico, siempre siento esa necesidad de que cada lugar que visito por un largo tiempo tenga ese punto de encuentro, esa parte de mar, lago, rio o dique que le de un sentido a la ciudad y me atraiga a perder la vista en el suave movimiento del agua con un horizonte de naturaleza.
Me encanta coomo el dique cuando esta lleno, puede formar ese espejo que lo refleja todo y da esas imagenes dobles que a cualquiera deja hipnotizado, este verano estuve en Catamarca por primera vez en esta estacion, el dique se veía muy triste, estaba muy bajo y no llovío durante mas de un mes, por suerte ya casi finalizando el verano las lluvias lograros revitalizar los rios y asi el dique El Jumeal volvio a su nivel normal y nos regalo esas hermosas vistas llenas de brillo.
