Tanda Bhakti monastery or Temple (but I call it monastery) is a monastery that I often visit. In a year, I can visit this place twice. Apart from that, I really like this place, the guards always manage diversity. As well as preserving peace in the city of Bandung. In fact, the caretakers are happy to share stories about the history and traditions of this place.

I really like it when the administrators share the stories of the peace that is preserved in this place. Another thing, this monastery is part of the Bhineka Path. And This place is one of the biggest monastery in Bandung. The Bhineka Path is a new tradition to introduce and build peace between religious communities in Bandung.

Tanda Bhakti Shrine was built in 1979 on Jalan Saritem, Bandung, Indonesia. This Monastery also introduces the Sutras in the Pallu Tradition. The important thing is this place teaches the Tri Dharma which can be used for the worship of Buddha, Confucianism and Taoism. Usually, Shrine are only for Buddhism. But Pagoda can be a place of worship of the teachings of the Tri Dharma. this place is Very interesting. We call this place is Monastery. It happened because when the new order in Indonesia banned pagodas. So, Buddhism does worship in Monastery.

I remember, every time we visited this place, I was always given noodles. Noodles are a typical Chinese food that must be eaten on Chinese New Year's Eve. The goal is for people to eat noodles long life. The noodle service at this place is excellent. I want to try again. In addition, this place holds a lantern party. In Bandung, this is the only place that holds a lantern party. I always follow the lantern party at this place.

It's beautiful to fly at night. The Lantern Festival was held in the Western Han Dynasty. This celebration was implemented by Emperor Wu as a ritual worship of the ruler of the universe named Taiyi. However, when Emperor Wen held a celebration or a lantern party it became a celebration of peace which was commemorated on the 15th. The Lantern Festival became a joyful and happy celebration.

However, during the Eastern Han Dynasty led by Emperor Ming, it was ordered to light candles every 15th. From these three things to the history of the celebration of the lantern festival. However, today the lantern party is a place for reunion and independence. Everyone socializes with anyone in the celebration. Everyone share the happiness in the lantern party.

In ancient China, women were only allowed to leave the house on the night of the lantern party. Women are free to interact with men, play and light lanterns. Not infrequently, this party of lights is considered as Chinese Valentine's Day. But, I believe this lantern party has a religious side to build peace. I look forward to the party of lights every year.

In addition, this place performs the Ulambana ceremony. This agenda is held in the seventh month of the Chinese calendar. This agenda is a form of love and prayer to the ancestors. In Buddhism, this Umbana celebration is a gathering so that the ancestors are given salvation and karma in the next birth.
