Hello everyone,

In this post, I'd like to share a marketplace where you can eat local food and learn Thai history. I headed to Ban Rachan Old-Style Market in Singburi Province, Thailand. It's about 2-3 hours from Bangkok by car. Let's step back to the Ayutthaya Period. Ban Rachan Village was located in the north of Ayutthaya. In Thai history the villagers of Bang Rachan bravely fought against the Burmese army in 1765.

Ban Rachan's old-style market is located in Pho Kwao Ton Temple in Singburi. This market has an atmosphere like the Ban Rachan camp in the Ayutthaya period. Inside the market, you will see many local foods and desserts. This market is different from the other market as vendors dress in traditional costumes, so it seems like you are walking in that period.

You can enjoy local Thai foods and desserts with seats by the river.

These are my foods: Som Tum (Papaya salad), fried spring rolls, and grilled fish with Thai noodles. I loved all of these yummy dishes.

I like this beverage shop because they use palm leaves as drink containers. The other shops also use eco-friendly containers.

There are interesting handmade souvenirs like wicker baskets, wicker hats, and wooden swords.

Thailand is so hip. You would never see a Cambodian guy working in the restaurant business shirtless with chest tattoos. Looks like a beautiful place to spend a day.

Lol 😆 This market wants you touch the real Thai’s lifestyle.

That looks soo yummy 😍 thanks for sharing

There are many kinds of local foods, you might love there.😬

Looks like to visiting, I want to go someday.

Welcome to Thaiand, I think you will like there.

Hello @noopu, not sure if you saw my comment to your previous post 10 days ago. Our only rule in this community is that all travel posts should be pinned to Pinmapple. You can find details about this on the community page. Pinning your post on Pinmapple will help to increase your post exposure and potentially get greater support from Pinmapple. Appreciate if you can follow our community rules so we can support you better. Thanks

Community mod.

Hello @livinguktaiwan, I think it is not my problem because I mentioned the location of both posts. They might not popular places, so they are not pinned on to Pimapple. It is the last post and will not use your community. I don't know have a problem again. I apologize for it.

Hi @noopu, if it's not a popular place then even more of a great reason to add to Pinmapple as it would be great to share with everyone!!😁 It makes it a lot easier for users, both on and off Hive, to find unique and special places recommended by seasoned travellers hence increasing your post and account exposure.

Pinning posts on Pinmapple is the only way that we can support travel content creators through our curation guild. All curated posts are supported by blocktrades and theycallmedan. In addition we are part of OCD's community incubation program. That means when we curate a Pinmapple post from our community, the author can potentially be supported by three of the largest accounts on Hive. Pinmapple are the only travel curation guild who can provide this level of support for users, plus, we do not take any beneficiary cut, all post rewards go directly to the author.

Pinning your travel content on Pinmapple makes great sense that's why we always encourage users to do it. Perhaps this makes more sense now?😀

I understood all reasons already. But I think you don’t understand me why this post is not pinned on the Pimapple? Because I wrote this post on Hive directly so It doesnt have map or program to pin like travelfeed. You should advice me the link or app
to me.

I see. The site is https://pinmapple.com/ as I mentioned in my first two messages, it's in the community page, and there's also a pinned post with instructions. Just click on the 'get code' at the top of the map and follow the instructions or check out the FAQ to get your post on the map. If you have any further issues feel free to let me know!

Thank you, you should attach the link at the first message. I think I don’t mistake again. Hope you understand me why I couldn’t pin on the Pimapple map. I will try the next post😊

Very cool place. Thanks for sharing. I'll have a wooden sword and an orange juice please.
