Bir ormanın içinde olduğunuzu düşünün. İnsanların ses çıkarmadan sadece etrafı gezdikleri ve ağaç köklerine yerleştirilmiş okuma kitaplardan birini seçip, özenle hazırlanmış oturma alanlarında o kitapları okuduklarını farz edin. Böyle güzel bir ormanda gezmeyi ister misiniz? Şimdi gelin sizleri böyle güzel bir ormana götüreyim. Hayal gibi düşündüğümüz bu kütüphaneyi Antalya Belediyesi gerçeğe dönüştürdü. Orman Kütüphanesinin kapısını aralayarak içeri girelim.
Founded in Dokuma, one of the quietest and most modest districts of Antalya, this library is the beginning of an adventure from natural life to education. A talking nature was created as a result of the researches and discoveries made by Kepez Municipality for this beautiful Forest Library, which was a first in Antalya. In this beautiful natural environment, which will be especially appreciated by book lovers, you can only hear the sounds of birds. You can enjoy reading a book in the open air among the sounds of birds here.
Antalya'nın en sakin ve mütevazi semtlerinden biri olan Dokuma da kurulan bu kütüphane, doğal yaşamdan eğitime uzanan bir serüvenin başlangıcıdır. Antalya'da bir ilk gerçekleştiren Kepez Belediyesinin bu güzel Orman Kütüphanesi için yaptığı araştırmalar ve keşifler sonucunda, konuşan bir doğa yaratıldı. Özellikle kitapseverlerin çok beğenecekleri bu güzel doğal ortamda sadece kuşların seslerini duyabilirsiniz. Açık Havada kuş sesleri arasında kitap okumanın keyfini burada yaşayabilirsiniz.
Located in Antalya Weaving Park, the Forest Library was established on an area of approximately 1500 square meters. There are colorful little wooden houses inside. There is also the Hobbit house in the forest, which we follow from the cinemas and arouses admiration in the audience with its visuality. Placed among natural pine trees, these small colorful houses are illuminated at night. Children show great interest in the forest, where an atmosphere of fairy tales is tried to be created.
Antalya Dokuma Parkın içinde yer alan, Orman Kütüphanesi, yaklaşık 1500 metre kare alanda kurulmuştur. İçerisinde rengarenk küçük küçük ahşap evler bulunuyor. Ormanın içinde bir de sinemalardan takip ettiğimiz ve görselliğiyle seyircisinde hayranlık uyandıran Hobbit evi de yer alıyor. Doğal çam ağaçlarının arasına yerleştirilen bu küçük renkli evler geceleri aydınlatılıyor. Masalcı bir ortam yaratılmaya çalışılan ormana çocuklar büyük ilgi gösteriyor.
The forest has two entrance gates. The first entrance gate is the round fence gate made of thin wide boards used by the sheep to close the area where the sheep stay. On top of this fence, they combined them with semi-triangular wood pieces that resemble the roofs of houses. To fix these pieces of wood, they supported them in thick wood. Finally, they painted these pieces of wood with oil paint.
Ormanın iki giriş kapısı var. İlk giriş kapısı köylerde koyunların kaldıkları alanı kapatmak için kullandıkları ince geniş tahtalardan yapılmış olan yuvarlak çit kapısıdır. Bu çitin üstüne de evlerin çatılarını andıran yarı üçgen şeklinde odun parçalarıyla birleştirmişler. Bu odun parçalarını tutturmak için, kalın odunlarda desteklemişler. Son olarak da bu odun parçalarını yağlı boya ile boyamışlar.
Even the image of the second door, which is generally used by everyone, shows us how beautiful it is inside. They cut the wood that you used as fuel in the stoves in the same size. They arranged these woods in the form of an oval arch. They put a black painted iron door in the middle. When we enter through this door, a tree with beautiful blond hair, bicycle eyes and a hat welcomes us. I think it was chosen as the most beautiful tree in this forest. They used wheat grains while making the blonde hair of this beautiful tree.
Genelde herkes tarafından kullanılan ikinci kapının görüntüsü bile içerinin ne kadar güzel olduğunu bizlere gösteriyor. Eskiden sobalarda yakacak olarak kullandığınız odunları aynı boyda kesmişler. Bu odunları oval kemer şeklinde dizmişler. Ortasına siyah boyalı demirden yapılmış kapı koymuşlar. Bu kapıdan içeri girdiğimizde bizi güzeller güzeli sarı saçlı bisiklet gözlü, şapkası olan bir ağaç karşılıyor. Sanırım bu ormanın en güzel ağacı olarak seçilmiş. Bu güzel ağacımızın sarı saçlarını yaparken buğday tanelerinden faydalanmışlar.
Inside the Forest Library, there are oak, pine trees and a stone house. They placed colorful two-door cabinets inside the tree roots. They include novels, stories and fairy tales from different genres. Among the books, there are mixed books that appeal to all segments, including children's classics, world classics, science, art and psychology.
Orman Kütüphanesinin içinde, meşe, çam ağaçları ve bir de taş ev bulunuyor. Ağaç köklerinin içine renkli iki kapaklı dolaplar yerleştirmişler. İçlerinde farklı türlerden roman ,hikaye ve masal kitapları bulunuyor. Kitaplar arasında çocuk klasikleri, dünya klasikleri, bilim, sanat ve psikoloji dahi olmak üzere her kesime hitap eden karma kitaplar var.
I can say that it is both pleasant and peaceful to walk among the houses made of colorful wooden boards placed among the trees and greenery. I would also like to talk about the beauty of the Hobbit house here. As you know the hobbit houses, we are familiar with the images published in the lord of the rings and the hobbit movie series. The Hobbit house set in this forest is inspired by the Hobbit houses from the movie "Lord of the Rings".

The Hobbit house, designed from the movie, has been given a fairy-tale feel. Kitap okuma alışkanlığını, orman, çevre ve tabiat güzelliğiyle anlatmaya çalışan bu güzel Orman Kütüphanesini sizlere anlatmaya çalıştım. Özellikle çocukların küçük yaşta oluşacak değer yargılarının ve kişilik özelliklerinin gelişimi için orman ve doğa sevgisinin bilincini onlara aktarmak gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Günümüz koşullarında çocuklar, şehir hayatında ister istemez doğadan uzak bir yaşam içindeler. Bu nedenle çocukları olabildiğince doğada ve ormanda tutabilmek adına böyle güzel alanların yapılması çocukların gelişim açısından çok önemlidir.
