Our winners today 🍍
🥇 Stone Town by @merthin
Far, far away... well, not that far after all, almost in the middle of Europe, in south-eastern Poland, there's a Stone Town. As the legend goes, once upon a time the town was a normal, bustling living place. But its inhabitants were involved in all kinds of evil and the whole town was turned to stone. Tour of the town starts, where else, in its Town Hall. It is situated on a cliff over a river flowing in a deep gorge. The legend has it that if the waters of the river, which by the way is called "White River", raise high enough to cover the rock, the spell will be undone and the town will be back to life. Looking down from the "Town Hall" cliff, it doesn't look very likely. But who said that legends were realistic?

🥈 More Than a Vacation on an Island by @bluemoon
Out of dozens of vacations in a lifetime, by far the vacation on an island is something else. Hard to describe, even if it seems easy. Of course, I now describe the feelings of an inhabitant on the continent that has met the island in recent years. An inhabitant of the island certainly sees things completely differently.

🥉 (AMAZING) Wild Orangutans by @crazy-andy
I stopped by at Amazing Nature community again, this time with an animal-related post.As most of you already know, animals are one of my favorite motives, if not the favorite. It is a special feeling taking wildlife photography as you have to actually hunt them, but not with a rifle, but your camera. Still, you have to respect their privacy as we are invading their territory and these animals are wild and will protect themselves if they find endangered.

Thank you! It's a joy and a pleasure to be mentioned here. Congratulations everyone!
Thank you for bringing us to that island @bluemoon! In times of deep winter here in Germany, it is a nice change to see some ocean views ;)
It was my great pleasure! In Romania, too, winter has a foothold on us. The memory of holidays at sea is my greatest pleasure. I have thousands of photos and that allows me to tell similar stories from different angles ... and I like that. I have to thank you for the extraordinary support you give me and my colleagues who present their holiday stories here. The best blogs are in #haveyoubeenhere, by far.
much for the mention @pinmapple 😊
You are very welcome @barbara-orenya! Love your paintings ;)

Thanks for featuring Stone Town. Swing by if you are in the vicinity!
It's only my 2nd article here (Mt Kosciuszko, Australia's top peak was the first one), so I am double pleased and honored by the selection. More pieces will come. How about a trip 2000 years back in time to Roman ruins in Caesarea?
That sounds like a great idea @merthin! Can't wait to see more of your discoveries :)
