🥇 Athens Acropolis: On the holy hill of the ancient gods by @koenau

Everyone has been to one of them before, but mostly there was only good food and good ouzo. The name Acropolis is without any doubt the most popular for Greek restaurants - and why that is so is immediately clear to every visitor to Athens. Because one, the real and famous Acropolis, is located in the heart of Athens, high on a mountain on which it is enthroned and dominates the cityscape like no other of the many impressive buildings in the Greek capital.

🥈 Uncharted Nature Destination - Sicogon Island! by @indayclara

Sicogon Island is part of Iloilo Province which is in the Western part of the Visayas Region. To be exact, you have to get to the municipality of Carles which is a 4-5 hour drive to get there from the city of Iloilo. However the island could be reached through the municipality of Estancia where we rented a boat and took about 45 minutes to bring us to this beautiful island.

🥉 Let's travel together #188 - Mănăstirea Peștera Ialomiței ("Ialomita Cave Monastery" and the attempt to explore its surroundings) by @gabrielatravels

There was also the monastery we've been to before to ask for more information about the place we wanted to explore, so we followed the path one more time to take some pictures of it.I'm talking about Ialomita Cave Monastery which represents a true treasure for Romania but since we visited the place when the pandemic was at the beginning, the access to the public and tourists was forbidden, so we could only admire it through the big gates that were slightly opened. There is not just a random monastery but actually a cave too, because the monastery is located on an altitude of 1,500 meters on the right side of the Ialomita Canyon, which makes the church become one and the same with the imposing stone walls that hide a beautiful cave just behind the religious place.
