Introduction

Hi everyone @LivingUKTaiwan here today with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. I'm standing in for @Choogirl as she's busy in real life. With Christmas coming soon, I found a really nice Christmassy post for you, although it's a throwback from a couple of years ago, it's still a lovely post in lovely Budapest. Our second post takes us to a world heritage site in UK and finally we go kayaking in Canada. Enjoy!!!

🥇 Christmas Market in Budapest, Hungary by @fitlipinasarah

" I was lucky enough to be in Hungary in December of 2019. I packed my bags with winter clothes feeling so excited to put on my boots and go to the Christmas market on my first night. I made sure it is fashionable (at least for Instagram). What I did not know though is how cold Christmas in Europe is. On my first night visiting the Christmas markets, I was shivering in cold. Fashion over comfort? Yes, But I was wrong. I'll definitely choose comfort over fashion next time."

🥈 The River in the Sky. A World Heritage Site, 10 minutes from my home. by @grindle

"Due to the abandonment in the early 19th C. of a proposed canal extension onwards to Chester the Trevor Basin became "end of the line" for the Ellesmere Canal; part of a canal system that was intended to link the Rivers Mersey and Severn. The canal was extended westward to LLangollen, and this is now a popular, tourist route as well as being home to those that travel the waterways of Britain."

🥉 Kayaking on the Pacific in Bowen Island, BC Canada 🛶🇨🇦 by @missdeli

"The view is simply amazing! And the experince was so much fun, interesting and relaxing! We could see the beautiful mountains and those fluffy clouds were just perfect to the gorgeous landscape.In some pictures, you can see some houses on the shore, I wonder if they are vacation houses or people actually leave there!The water is cold, as you can imagine. Actually my cousin felt it because he flipped with the kayak upside down. It was a bit scary at the moment but he managed to come at the surface sound and safe. I can't tell the same for his phone though One month use, brand new I-phone. It was gone."
