🥇 Exploring Malapascua Island Above and Below the Water by @dtam
If beautiful sand beaches, happy hours, friendly, laid back locals, and excellent diving are what you are after, then look no further than Malapascua Island in the Philippines. After flying into Cebu Int. Airport it is a three hour car ride to the tiny port of Maya. From there a 30 minute boat ride takes you across the normally calm channels.Each resort has its own bar, restaurant, and dive center. Heidi and I chose Ocean Vida since we had a package deal with Sea Explorer Divers already and that was the resort that houses that dive company.

🥈 Around the Portuguese no.3 - Cabo da Roca & Praia da Ursa by @olusiu
Right next to Lisbon, there is Cape Cabo da Roca, which is the westernmost part of the European continent. There are just over five and a half thousand kilometers to North America from here. Long ago, people thought that the most advanced part of Europe, and according to the thinking of the whole world at the time, was the Spanish Cape of Cabo Fisterra. However, you have to forgive them, because they are only wrong by a dozen or so kilometers. In 1772, at Cape Cabo da Roca, a lighthouse was put into use, which shines on the area from a height of 165m to this day.

🥉 Memories...Simply Stunning Scotland by @nathen007
The choice of Scotland was hardly surprising as they regularly drove the 300+ miles up there as they loved it so much, my earliest memories were of summer holidays towing a tiny caravan around the highlands and islands, usually in the rain. Not much changes in that respect!I don't know where their deep love of Scotland came from. We have no family connections and its a long way away but it is beautiful. It seems I have inherited this love and if I had to choose the perfect place to spend the rest of my life it would up there on that incredible North-West coast with its perfect, sandy beaches and ice cold, crystal clear water.
