Hi everyone @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's #TravelDigest. We're still in summer in most parts of the world, and it's the best time for some outdoor activities. " Onjuku Chuo Beach (御宿町 中央海水浴場) is named after its town. Maybe because it's located in the central part of the town? 😅 (Chuo in Japanese means central by the way) The sea I think is already the Pacific Ocean. I'm not sure on this but I do think it is. After all, there are no more islands blocking the ocean. The waves were too strong on the other side so that place was reserved for surfers. We actually passed by some surfers on our way to the beach. "

🥈 Venice - the eternal romance! Day1 - My date with canals, gondolas and ferries ... by @vm2904
" I had only seen gondolas in James Bond movies before and there was an awesome moment when I saw so many of them parked as I entered the ferry port near Rialto bridge. I was hungry to glimpse gondolas in action and wanted desperately to ride one. I did not really ride one till late evening that day but saw many of them around. There is some kind of magical, old world charm in seeing a gondola weaving it's way though tiny canals between beautiful buildings.."

" Anyway, we arrived at the racetrack and quickly found the company BBQ on the lovely and shady grounds behind the racetrack's grandstand. I quickly become known as my friend's sidepiece and had to bite my cheeks to keep from laughing at the reactions every time she introduced me to a gaggle of her coworkers. Not gonna lie, I might have had fun."
