The city of Valongo, which is where I live, has its urban part as well as many fields with agriculture and various animals. That is, when you go further to the outskirts of the city you usually see places with a lot of fields. This city is located on the outskirts of the city of Porto, where you can enjoy the nature that surrounds it and at the same time in 15 minutes you can reach a very busy urban center like the city of Porto.
Seeing sheep grazing or other types of animals is quite normal to see, and even though I live in a place that I can also enjoy nature. We have plenty of walking paths that go through the city center, through the countryside and finally reach the mountains.
In the middle of the path I found a small bridge with a stream. Here in the city of Valongo a river passes which is the River Ferreira, but this river is quite small unfortunately because it is not possible to enjoy going to the water of the river.
At the end of my walk I found this tank that is now rare to see people doing laundry here, but when I was a child with my 10 years old I remember going here and seeing the tank completely full of people washing theirs clothes and even rugs from your home. It has been almost 30 years and as everything in life evolves now people with electrical appliances no longer need to wash clothes in the tank.
