Mountain! It's like a dream come true!!
This was my first ever compacted tour of the mountain. I have been to the hill town before, being close to the mountains but never got the chance to track on the hills and fully enjoy the beauty. You can guess how excited I was. The whole tour went by in the blink of an eye. But after coming back home, I can tell, how much I have collected in my bag of memory!
The hillside of Bangladesh is located in the South-Eastern part. It takes around 6 hours on the road from the capital. There are many tourist places. We went to the famous 'Sajek valley which is popular for its mesmerizing view of the mountain.
We took our bus at 11.00 PM and reach the khagrachari district early in the morning. It always amazes me to be in a different city, gets a view of the city, and see the lifestyle; there's so much to learn and witness.
Let me share some photos.

This was our very first view. Nothing special, an ordinary town. We were off the bus around 6 in the morning so the town was still sleeping. The weather felt a little cold, and after a long night on the bus; it felt very refreshing.

Then we loaded our luggage in a local vehicle called 'Chander gari' and headed to our hotel. After refreshment, we went to have our breakfast. It was around 9 in the morning and it was time to travel to the Sajek valley.
It took us three and a half hours to reach the valley. It was picked time because of the weekend, so there was a little traffic on the road. And unfortunately, because of the rain the day before, a mudslide incident happened. But the authority cleared it out just in a few hours. So it took an hour more to enter the valley.
But it's because of the mesmerizing view, we didn't mind taking time to reach our resort in the valley. I mean who would complain when the road is as beautiful as the destination?
The valley is 2,000 feet (610 m) above sea level. It is known as the Queen of Hills & Roof of Rangamati. You can see the whole mountain area from the top, it's such a heavenly place. We spend two and a half days there. Our resort view was also amazing.
I would share more photos in the upcoming days about the tour and some tourist spots.
It still feels like, if I close my eyes, I can see the mountain, I can feel the smell of the mud, I can see the beautiful clouds and the blue sky.
It's truly like a dream come true to me.
