Day 1 at Durhan White Beach Resort was really relaxing and fun. The place is simple and peaceful, with soft white sand and clear water. It feels like a perfect spot for anyone who wants a quiet trip away from the busy city life. The beach is wide and clean, and the whole area gives a calm and chill vibe.
Durhan White Beach Resort is located in Brgy. Tabunok, Tabuelan, Cebu. It is one of the white sand beaches in Tabuelan and has cottages, triangle-shaped huts, and a nice beachfront where you can just sit and enjoy the view.
Since we were coming from Bogo City, the trip took about 30–45 minutes by car, which was really convenient. If you’re coming from Cebu City, you can take a bus or drive using Waze or Google Maps. The bus trip usually takes about 2 hours, depending on traffic, and the resort is easy to find along the main highway. The location is perfect if you just want a short getaway without traveling too far.
We stayed in a small triangle-shaped room for ₱1500. The room looks cute like a mini house. It is simple but comfortable enough for resting after swimming and walking along the beach. The bathroom is common, but it was clean and usable, so it didn’t bother us at all. The room is very close to the beach, so you can hear the waves at night, which makes it even more relaxing.
After settling our things, we went out to explore the beach. The wind was light and refreshing, and the waves were calm, perfect for swimming. We spent time floating in the water, walking along the shore, and just enjoying the scenery. The beach has many nice spots for pictures, so we took some photos while exploring. Even though there were other guests around, the area felt open and not crowded at all.
The resort also has a bar near the beach. It is a nice place to sit in the afternoon and enjoy a cold drink while watching the sea. The vibe there is very chill, and the sound of the waves makes it perfect for relaxing with friends or just thinking quietly.
The sunset at Durhan is one of the best parts of the day. The sky slowly turns orange, pink, and gold, and the colors reflect beautifully on the water. We just sat on the sand, watching the sun go down and feeling peaceful. It’s one of those moments you wish could last longer.
At night, we went back to our room to rest. The resort becomes very quiet, and the night breeze from the sea makes the place feel even more relaxing. It is the perfect environment for unwinding after a day in the sun. The next morning, they serve breakfast, and it feels nice to start the day eating while looking at the beach. The morning view is fresh and bright, making you ready for another fun day.
Overall, Day 1 at Durhan White Beach Resort was calm, relaxing, and full of small moments that made the trip memorable. It is a great place for anyone from Cebu who wants a peaceful beach trip with nice views, a relaxing atmosphere, and easy travel from Bogo City or Cebu City. Triangle huts, clean beachfront, a small bar, and a beautiful sunset make it a perfect first day for a short getaway.
