Hello Beautiful People!
How's everyone doing today?
As for me, I have been busy with a lot of things for my pupils such as decorating our rooms, making instructional materials, printing safety protocol signage, and having some meetings with the parents.
Face-to-face classes started already and I am delighted to see the beautiful smiles of my pupils every day especially when they greet me in the morning. It is such a heartwarming scene that I have missed for 2 years due to the pandemic.
Though I am bombarded with so much class work, I always find time to write my blog here on hive. I also love reading different posts from the different communities that inspire me to continue wandering and writing our experiences too. Thanks to all the people for the continuous support and inspiration.
DAKONG BATO BEACH
This time, I am going to share my beach date with my friends. We went on a date at Dakong Bato Beach in Dalaguete Cebu a couple of weeks ago.
Dakong Bato is located in Dalaguete Cebu. It will take you 2 hours from Cebu City to get here. This is also accessible by car, bus, van, or motorcycle.
Dakong Bato is a Cebuano term that means big rock in English. This is called Dakong Bato because it is located on the cliffside where there are some big rocks. Though it is on the cliffside, they managed to make the resort more inviting to the tourists.
Look how lovely the plants and flowers surrounding the vicinity. I love the bougainvilleas on top of the buildings. Moreover, the color of the buildings also captivated our attention.
SWIMMING POOLS
If you don't like going to the sea then head to their beautiful swimming pools. By the way, they have 2 swimming pools. My friends and I enjoyed the swimming activity here. We also went to the beach area but it was low tide so we went back to the pool place.
COTTAGES, TABLES, AND CHAIRS
This place has a lot of cottages for you to relax after swimming. These are located near the 2nd swimming pool and beach place. It was a bit hot when we were there so we stopped here for a while and took some photos of ourselves.
OUR ROOM
We got this room that is good for 3 people. Actually what's nice about this room is the overlooking view of the ocean and sunrise. Aside from that, our room includes a place where we can eat outside with a beautiful view of the ocean.
FOOD
They actually have a lot of food choices but in my case, I ordered sisig and pansit since these are my favorite food. The staff will just deliver your food to your room.
We took some photos again before going home. They gave us give away cookies as well.
HOW TO GET HERE
Ride a bus going to Dalaguete from South Bus Terminal. Locate the place by google maps or Waze. It can easily be accessed because it is just along the highway.

I'm not of a sea person, so I'm just always at the pool, just looking at the sea and the sunset in the distance. Such a nice place. I have seen a lot of posts about Cebu here and not a single one is not that this spectacular. 😍
