"Alone In The Wood"

in Pinmapplelast year

We stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and hostels during out week long trip to Norway. Our first one was called Alone in the Wood. It was so great!

From the Airbnb post;

The house "Alone In The Wood" is located about 2 Hours from Bergen and 3 hours from Stavanger on Norway's west coast outermost Hardangerfjord. On the island of Stord local space Fitjar.

It was the perfect location as we were driving from Bergen to Stavanger and wanted to drive down the west coast through the islands and take ferries along the way.

It reminded us of our grandmas house growing up and had a lot of space!
We each got our own bedroom.

There was a nice river that ran right by the house

It was in such a lovely location out in the country. We loved it!

If you want a great place to stay between Bergen and Stavenger I recommend this Airbnb.

Agreed, it was wonderful out in nature!

Scenic and peaceful. I like the wooden interior of the rooms. 😊 The sheep grazing in the grasses is a sight!

Hi @callmesmile Those sheep grazing at sunset were an incredible sight. We saw so many sheep in Norway, which makes sense as it is famous for it's wool. I should do a post of the sheep pictures!

I should do a post of the sheep pictures!

Pretty please☺️, for sure many will love the view too! I for one wish to see it, we rarely have sheep in my countryside!

Ha ha that was funny.

This might be an intrusive question, but how do you fund all your trips. It looks like you are living an amazing and fulfilling life of travel. My wife and I are tying to figure out how to make it happen on our end. I have hopes that Hive may fund that dream some day.

Hi @cryptictruth The trip to Amsterdam to HiveFest and Norway the week after were a combination of blogging payouts (Hive) and personal funds from working. It is really exciting to be doing this long enough that my blogging can pay for some of my travels. Keep dream and working. I will too.
