If you love mountains and extremely beautiful nature, then this post is definitely for you. Let me invite you to the charming city of Zakopane in Poland. Hold your breath, have a cup of coffee or fragrant tea and get ready. Our journey begins.
In the south of Poland, under the huge Tatra Mountains, is the extremely cozy and beautiful city of Zakopane. It is worth visiting this city not only in winter but also in summer. From the tops of the mountains there are enchanting views. In winter you get into a winter white fairy tale, and in summer in a magical variety of colors. Recreation here is quite diverse.
What is not here? First of all, you should visit Mount Gubalovka. I will write about it later. A super fast funicular will take you to this mountain. You can climb another mountain with the help of lifts. It is not necessary to have skis here in winter. If you do not like or do not know how to ski, it's not scary. I can't either. Instead of beds, you can go sledding, sledding. I'll tell you even more, in the city of Zakopane you can rent a sleigh with dogs. If there is enough snow, you will love to ride on the low mountains.
Hotels. There are a lot of them here. You can choose for yourself a home that only you want. My advice, book accommodation for a month on booking. And don't forget to settle closer to the city center. All sights and attractions start from the city center. During the day you can visit the mountains by cable car or ski lift, and in the evening take a walk in the evening city. Funicular tickets can be purchased quickly through a large monitor at the crosswalk. The cheapest way is to buy a ticket up and down at once.
In the evening the city comes to life the most. Musicians play funny songs, animators entertain adults and children on the streets. Before Christmas there is a special atmosphere. At every step along the long pedestrian street you can choose any restaurant. Be sure to try the Polish dumplings and Soplica liqueur. In general, there is food for every taste: pizza, sushi, dumplings, meat, fish.
The most distinctive feature of this city are the wooden houses. The houses are extremely beautiful. Each house is especially extraordinary. If you are interested in the history of these houses, be sure to visit the Zakopane Style Museum.
The prices in this tourist town are very nice. So be sure to visit the gift shops. And don't forget to buy shredded sheep's cheese. You will love it. So do not hesitate. Pack your bags, book tickets and go to Zakopane. This trip will be incredible and unforgettable for you. This is what I promise you.

Children can also go skiing there. And there are many slides for children where you can sled!)
