Cape Jervis is located in the edge of Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia. A peninsula is a connect area to mainland but surrounded by sea. I made a good travel around the peninsula this year, and Cape Jervis is one of them. Cape Jervis is approximately 100km from the main city of Adelaide and takes 1.5 hrs of drive to the destination. Along the way, the small hils with vineyard and wheat farm with greenery gives an alluring view when you pass through the highway.

The small hills are decorative with pasture lands, cows, and sheeps and that makes the road trip a beautiful experience. Sometimes it about the journey not the destination, raching to the detsination actually felt like it. The cows, and sheeps, and the green land with sloppy mini hills felt a a beuatiful country side road trip. Along the way, stoping by some dams, and some water sheds was a memory that would go down for a long time in my eyes.

Cape Jervis issmall town located in the peninsula, and is a entry point to Kangaroo island, which I kept on it on my travel list for next year. Cape Jervis to Kangaroo island ferry has a limited time schdedule, so as I roam around I decided to stay for awhile , to get a good look of SEALINK ferry.

SeaLink Ferry at Cape Jervis:
SeaLink Ferry serves as the means of transportation , you can go in person or take your vehicle with you as well which will be convenient to drive in Kangroo Island. The fare depends upon the seasonbut costs around 100-200 aud person.
The ferry was pretty bigger than normal transportation popular around Australia, it’s obvious as it carries the vehicles as well. Seagulls were flying around, and uou can feel the smell of the sea. The breeze was cold, and chilling, and strong as well.

The Lighthouse located also provided a good scape to the entire Cape Jervis. It came in operation in 1871, however there is new tower in place after 1972.
The white color light house was distinctive and you could walk around the light house to get a beautiful view of the coastal region.
South Australia is usually dry after November, and you can see small plants turning brown as we reach to the summer. It’s spring for flowers and flowers are popping everywhere. A great travel this year.
Thank you so much @qurator team and @brumest ✨
