Onkaparinga is one of the nature-connected councils in Adelaide. With beautiful beaches, the Onkaparinga River, and flourishing vegetation around, it's one of the best getaway towns if you are in Adelaide. There are multiple beaches, some of which are quite popular, but this place has my heart for the sunset view. As its name suggests, it's the mouth of the river of Onkaringa connected to the sea.
Sunset always has been my motivational sprinkler to kind of rejuvenate me for the next day. It's like a fresh start. 2025 had been a fresh financial year; I feel there are some sprinkles of destiny from Sunset. This point is a happening place for people around to surf, swim, have some romantic getaways, or have family time. It fills all the checklists.
While I was there, I went down the river and swept the water by the sea, tingling my senses and sending chills down my spine. It's summertime here, and the beach activities will increase in the coming days. It's fun to watch people surf, play, and have some quality times. This feels like belonging in a pursuit of happyness.
This seashore walkway is a delight; you can take your shoes off and just walk on the sand. It's fresh air in the summer. The sunset brings more of the vibe in summer, and you can just swing by the seashore.
It was a new year outing. It's always a pleasure to take time for yourself and go out. Whatever hope in despair or whatever has gone down, I wish all your hope and wishes come true like a new sunrise. Wishing a happy New Year to everyone.
