It was a quick day spent around Adelaide City. The city was busy that day when I arrived around 1 pm. It was a shopping haul to do for trips to the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
Parking is a hassle in the city, and this time, because of some construction, I had to park a 10-minute walk from my usual spot at South Terrace. But the walk did provide a good view of the city with the football field.
Adelaide City is the central business district surrounded by residential suburbs. The tall buildings are from the mid- to early 20th century, still used for shopping centers and Offices. That would blend with the modern interior design inside these architectures. You had to zoom out yourself from the space to acknowledge the historical architecture around the city.
From the South Terrace, a quick free city tram would take you to Rundle Mall. Rundle Mall is THE MALL, not just to shop but to meet or a pinpoint location to meet friends if I am finding them hard to locate around the area.
It has been more than 3 years in Adelaide, but there’s always something to look for. The walk street offers a good view of the blending architecture from two different generations, with diverse international brand stores, entertainment, and different historical artifacts to look at. The city feels bustling in the streets of Rundle Mall.
The schedule was tight with work, so I had to separate on Wednesday for a quick shopping spree. I walked 15000 steps that day. And that ended with some good purchases in offers. It's the start of the holiday season in school, and it's a family trip coming from three different states, meeting at the Gold Coast.

Indeed. Its more of mixture to the 20th century buildings but has maintained its modern looks over the time.
