Nanjing Street and Bund: The Stunning beauty of Night Shanghai

in Pinmapplelast year

Hello, dear mates in the Hive Universe and welcome you to the last and the most impactful chapter of my recent visit to Shanghai and Nanjing. As for a couple of weeks, I have already shared my experience and details of my exploration of different spots in my previous blogs. Today I am going to share the extremely stunning night view of Shanghai City most spectacular view which is one of the world's most famous cities in the world having a great view from the river bank called the Huangpu river. I will also cover one of the busiest road in the city called Nanjing Street which has a historical value.

Before going to the Bund area it is better to pay a visit to Nanjing street. Nanjing Street is one of the most famous and busiest streets in Shanghai, especially after the evening. The street is filled with aristocratic stores, luxury hotels, and some of the most beautiful old and traditional buildings with a touch of European engineering. There are several notable buildings on Nanjing Road which were constructed in the early 1900s with great examples of beautiful architecture. At night, these buildings are lit up with neon lights, which adds to the overall beauty of the street with the yellowish dream lights everywhere in the street making it a popular spot for photos.

But it's not just the buildings that make Nanjing Road so enchanting at night. The street itself is a spectacle with colorful lights, and the bustling crowds give the street a lively energy. At night, Nanjing Road is transformed into a vibrant and energetic place. The city truly comes alive, and it's easy to see why it's such a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. From the iconic buildings to the lively atmosphere, there's something for everyone on Nanjing Road. Nanjing Road is a great place that truly shines at night time. The mix of modern and traditional buildings creates a unique atmosphere that is both captivating and enchanting.

Also, Nanjing Road is well known for its huge shopping malls, luxury brand stores, and stylish boutiques. It is a popular destination for fashion enthusiasts and shoppers from around the world. With world's best brand shops, it is home to many traditional Chinese shops, restaurants, and street vendors. Here, you can find everything from silk and jade to traditional Chinese snacks and souvenirs.

Nanjing Road has also a rich history, I came to know from my friend that back in the mid-19th century when it was a dirt road lined with small shops and tea houses. It was not until the 1920s and 30s that Nanjing Road became the bustling commercial center that it is today, with the introduction of modern department stores and other Western-style buildings. During World War II, Nanjing Road suffered significant damage and destruction. However, in the post-war years, it was rebuilt and became one of the most vibrant and dynamic streets in Shanghai City.

Today, Nanjing Road is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Shanghai. Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or simply take in the sights and sounds of the city, Nanjing Road has something for everyone. The interesting part is for me that I didn't buy anything from here as the price of everything is just beyond my limit.

At the end of Nanjing street, the Huangpu river comes with an iconic view of Shanghai city. Thousands of people are here only to take some photos with the amazing background everywhere from the Bund. For those amazing views, Shanghai is often known as the "Pearl of the Orient" and is one of the most vibrant cities in China. It is famous for its modern architectures which are competing with themselves to catch the sky! One of the most iconic spots to witness the beauty of Shanghai at night is the Bund.

The Bund, located on the west bank of the Huangpu River is a several km long promenade that offers spectacular views of Shanghai's modern skylines altogether from the place. From here, you can see some of the most iconic buildings in the city, such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Shanghai Tower, and the Shanghai World Financial Center. The night view of Shanghai from the Bund is truly breathtaking. The city lights up in a dazzling array of colors, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere that is hard to forget. The colorful lights reflect off the water, adding to the ambiance and making the scene even more magical.

It is such a place that the photo shoot is much more attractive with the stunning background everywhere. As I visited during New years eve, the crowdedness was much more than usual time. The Bund is also a great place to take a stroll and enjoy the fresh air. The whole place is lined with trees and benches, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. As you walk along the Bund, you will see people from all walks of life, including locals, tourists, and expats, enjoying the views and taking photos.

Not only the skyscraper side is with the best beauty but the yellow color of the opposite side will also catch your eyes with an amazing array of buildings with European styles!

And taking a photo with both sides as the background will be awesome. If you want to capture the best photos of Shanghai at night, the Bund is the perfect spot. The contrast between the modern skyscrapers and the old colonial buildings makes for a unique and fascinating backdrop. The Huangpu River itself is a spectacle, with boats of all shapes and sizes passing by, adding to the already dynamic view.

Shanghai is an exciting city that truly comes alive at night. The Bund is undoubtedly one of the best places to take in the beauty of Shanghai after dark. The stunning view of the city's modern skyline and the lively atmosphere make the Bund a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Shanghai.

I hope you like my blog on visiting the Shanghai Bund for the amazing view of the array of modern skyscrapers and I am inviting you to get the experience of my all tours in my upcoming blogs. And if you have any kinds of queries, you can ask me in the comments. I will try to answer at my level best.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention, I will catch you at the next one.
Have a great weekend!

Dear my friend @tanzil2024!

I admired the fact that you put effort into taking pictures of really great scenes!
As I looked at Shanghai's buildings covered in yellow lights, I remembered that the Chinese love yellow as the color of emperors!
The Chinese regard yellow as sacred because it is the color of clothing that only emperors can wear!

Doesn't my brother Hassan remember that Chinese emperors wear yellow?
