Have you watched "The Lord of the Rings"? I am a massive fan of the movie, and I was totally impressed with the hobbits' stunning village. I would love to recommend you watch this movie. It is highly appreciated and resonated when released in 2001. The film tells about the journey to destroy the Ring of Power of a hobbit named Frodo Baggins; the villages' fate lies in the hands of Frodo and eight friends from The Fellowship of the Ring during a trip to Mount Doom in Mordo, the only place that can destroy the Lord's One Ring. Darkness Sauron.
That's something short description about the movie, but the main of my sharing today is my Hobbit and Hamilton Garden Trip
Recalling one of the best memories in New Zealand and a throwback to the beautiful fall season 2018 before I left the North for the South, a friend ~John, and I went on a trip to Hobbiton Movie Set and Hamilton Garden 🙂
I can't remember how much we purchased the tickets at that time? But now I take a look on https://www.hobbitontours.com/ the cost is 89 NZ dollars for an adult 😊
Hobbiton tourist area is located in Matamata town, Waikato, formerly; this area is a family farm of more than 500 hectares. This is a beautiful town in northern New Zealand, about 2 hours by car from Auckland city. An interesting story is when the crew came here and met the farm owner. He had no idea of the novel "The Lord of the Rings" but still agreed on the site's part to become a studio. And then, it suddenly became a famous tourist resort until now.
😄 I was trying to look for little Hobbit Villagers but couldn't find anyone.....smaller than me 🤣😄😃
44 houses in the Hobbit village are built half-submerged in the ground. Each house is decorated with many different themes.
Besides, there are The shires rest cafe, Shire shop, and The green dragon Inn. At Green Dragon, I had a chance to enjoy a wine party made by local people and delicious dishes for tourists. Alternatively, you can try a non-alcoholic ginger beer or Sackville cider. At the Shire store, they sell all the souvenirs such as models, mugs, shirts, keys, ... to the Hobbit village and the movie The Lord of the Ring.
Hamilton is New Zealand's largest inland city with a population of 169500. Hamilton has a pleasant and peaceful climate, combined with the 16km-long Waikato River, to create a scene worth living, captivating beauty.
There are many fun activities here, such as a boat ride on the Waikato River, Lake Hamilton, a hot air balloon ride to see the city view. Hamilton Park is a public park in southern Hamilton owned and managed by the Hamilton City Council of New Zealand.
This 54-hectare park on the Waikato River banks includes enclosed gardens, lawns, lakes, nurseries, convention centers, and Hamilton Cemetery. 21 gardens represent the arts, beliefs, lifestyles, and traditions of various civilizations in the classical garden style. Not only is it considered a garden, but it is also known as a work of art. technique. You will get lost if you do not get the guide map. Especially, it's completely free. To visit all of this place takes about 2 hours. Besides, there is also a souvenir shop to it; there are interesting items to buy. You will not be disappointed when you arrive here! Trust me.

Yeah, It looks more stunning to see it by our own cameras EYES. The Hobbit Movie Set is definitely awesome and one of my most favorite places to visit in NZ.
