Hello Hiver! In recent days, Hue is entering in the cold rain at the beginning of the season so it has hindered me a lot from visiting other destinations in my plans. Because of bad weather, I have been staying at home for almost a week, today while reviewing the pictures I took in nice days, I came up with an idea to write this article. I will introduce to you 3/2 park and flowers market which is located along the banks of the Huong River in Hue city. I had an evening walk with my friends on the last days of the year. Now let's walk around these places with me on a beautiful night.
In the nice weather after days of heavy rain, my friends and I stopped by a small corner near 3/2 Le Loi park and enjoyed street skewers foods, this is one of the familiar dishes since I was in high school. We talk about the year-end changes together then stopped by the park to see the new decorations for the upcoming new year.
3/2 Le Loi Park
3/2 Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Hue city, this is a famous tourist destination for foreign tourists when coming to Hue and also a place frequented by many people in Hue at night. This is often a gathering place for young people, clubs from universities, and even street bands, so the atmosphere here is very busy at night.
One of the things that make me interested in this place is the decorative lights, if you come here at night you can see the beauty of many flower gardens next to the fountains and the opposite of the park there is also a city administration building decorated by bright lights make the area becomes even more lively at night. I took a walk around and took a few photos here, I feel like the park has changed a lot compared to last year, there are many flower gardens and fountains installed in the park, it feels great to see something new where you live every year.
In addition to the beautiful drawing from the lights, there are also many walking paths, famous riverside buildings have just been built. We walked along a path in the park leading to the ironwood bridge area, this is one of the famous destinations for young people in the city. From this place you can observe the entire Huong River and the area along the two banks of the river, this wooden bridge is equipped with a lighting system at night making them more popular with tourists on arrival in Hue.
Flower Market On The Lunar New Year
Flower Market on the Tet holiday is an indispensable activity for Vietnamese people. This place is often selling a lot of beautiful flowers to display to welcome the Lunar New year, in addition, this place also exhibits artworks about trees of artists who play bonsai for a long time. There are a lot of people who come here, but mainly to see the beautiful drawings of the flowers here.
We stopped by the small shops to see the beautiful flowers on display. The atmosphere was very hurly-burly and noisy so we couldn't ask about all the prices of the flowers. However, as far as I know, the value of bonsai often comes with time to take care, each type of tree has a certain price, some trees such as Ochna that are often perennial species and take well cared for by the hands of artisans, so their prices are often very high. The remaining flowers like chrysanthemums are short-term flower varieties, so their prices are quite cheap. Every time Tet comes, I stop by the flower market to admire the beautiful flower from all over the city and enjoy a wonderful feeling of the last days of the year, letting myself relax to prepare for the New year's peace and happiness.
Above are my walks during the last days of the year. It feels great to walk around the street in the air during the hustle and bustle of big holidays. How about you?
