Hello there,

Hope you are having a great Sunday!

Decided to share more about my road trip from previous weekend, where I continued my journey from our tiny coast in Slovenia and took about an hour drive threw the border and down to an old city in Croatia called Pula.

At first it took me a while to get used too, even went in an apartment for two days, before I went to meet to get the keys of the apartment I had around two hours left for me to explore.

My first aim was to find their mighty, well preserved and kept in great condition Roman Amphitheatre from Roman empire days. It is one of a kind of it's state in which is preserved.

Learned that it is the biggest city in Istrian part of Croatia and 7th largest in the country. It is rich with old history with many well preserved ancient buildings in the city center that is kind of 2000 years old and still standing mighty and strong.

Their arena was my first aim to find and after getting to the center and trying to find an empty parking spot, the road took me straight in front of the Roman Arena and that was where I started.

There is another fun fact about this Amphitheatre, it actively has live concerts in the middle of it, till this day, I believe this weekend is also going to be a huge techno party there some friends are going too with the main DJ from sLOVEnia Boris Brejcha.

Continued my path of finding most of roman empire buildings left in the city, grabbed something to eat quickly along the way and to exchange euro's for some Kuna's their local currencies to pay for the parking. I'm not 100% what I was looking at but the quality, shapes and it's presence made me smile and feel satisfies to just stand and watch such masterpieces in front of me that I only saw in movies and videogames like Assasins's Creed that will probably stay as one of my all time favorite game.

Fun fact, maybe not fun but, there are several locations I did find Crusaders logo's on old buildings like these.

For the 3rd day in a row of having my phone on complete silence and airplane mode, taking photos was my only encounter with it as my work includes constantly making calls, checking email and responding, while still trying to stay away from technology, while trying to stick to good, positive and productive new habits, like meditation, taking more walks...

While walking threw the center, exploring it's beauties and finding the right way I saw many people getting parking tickets, a lot more than I'm used too, so watch out if going to Pula.

Ever wondered where Starbucks got their logo from?

This is where I turned back to find my car and go get apartment keys, before making myself a lunch, unpack what I didn't need and go explore, the main reason why I came down here for.

My goal for over 4 years has been to go explore Cape Kamenjak and jump off the cliff as I am afraid of heights, but I love jumping in deep water. It really has been a unique experience, a lot of nice beaches, lovely place to explore under the water as well. When I got prepared I took a 20 minute drive to the Cape Kamenjak where the road took me straight to the cliff's first and then as the sun started going down, explored the other parts of it as well.

Looks like nobody from #haveyoubeenhere ever went to Cape Kamenjak, so I will make a separate post about it and mark the location as it truly is a great place to go on vacation, the prices aren't sky high, apartment cheaper than in Slovenia, the scenery is amazing and only 10 kilometers away from Pula.

I'm really grateful to be able to go on such a road trip, that I'm able to walk, see, swim, drive a reliable car and that I finally started listening to myself, increasing self worth and self respect from one day to another and enjoy taking a time off all of the technologies, work and I feel blessed that I can save everything on such an amazing platform, as well as in my memories.

Thank you for taking time to read, I wish you a good day or a good night and a good life.

Amazing Pula! I like your photos very much. Pula is one of my favorite Croatian cities.

Yes it is, definitely coming back, still have to explore Kamenjak more as I left early with a bad sunburn :)
Manly more places to explore, even finding new places.
Thank you very much
